I will be upfront and tell you, I’ve never been a fan of Dan Crenshaw. He reminds me of Paul Ryan. He’s very much an “establishment” politician and has that same “That’s not who we are” GOP RINO vibe as Paul Ryan.
Dan’s always been critical of President Trump, as well. He will smile and say one slightly barely decent thing about President Trump out of one side of this mouth, and then in the next breath he’s stabbing him in the back like “John McCain Jr.”
Crenshaw is not the “future” of the GOP. As young as he is, he actually represents the tired old GOP establishment, which is everything we’re fighting against and why we’re in the mess that we’re in right now.
At best Dan’s a weak mealy-mouthed establishment hack. At worst, he’s a progressive globalist masquerading as a “Republican.”
Either way, we lose.
So, I was not surprised when I saw that he is “teaming up” with Nancy Pelosi and working on her “climate change” committee.
As a matter of fact, Crenshaw has been doing such a good job pushing the left’s climate hoax, that Speaker Pelosi reportedly had a hand in picking him to sit on the committee. He was appointed by McCarthy.
The committee is “bipartisan.”
Not sure why – Republicans should be focused on America First issues, not the left’s climate change agenda.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) is receiving a reward from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for spreading globalist propaganda with regards to climate change.
Crenshaw was handpicked by Pelosi, along with moderate Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), as a new member of her Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, according to the Washington Examiner.
They join existing members, including Reps. Garrett Graves (R Gary Palmer (R-AL), Buddy Carter (R-GA), Carol Miller (R-WV), and Kelly Armstrong (R-ND), as lawmakers betraying their constituents to promote federal environmental policy.
Graves describes Crenshaw as “a real asset in our efforts to reduce global emissions while ensuring the U.S. economy continues to grow and our American workers are protected.” They will be working with the Democrats on a report that will recommend federal solutions for climate change.
Big League Politics has reported on Crenshaw’s surrender on environmental policy in the past, as the former military veteran is happy to work with Democrats on half-measures to gain positive press headlines:
“Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) recently came out of the closet, outing himself as a so-called “rational environmentalist” in a Facebook video repeating leftist talking points about the evil of carbon emissions.
“I’m an environmentalist. And I know climate change is real,” Crenshaw said to open his video.
“I’m also rational – and I know that wasting your tax dollars on crazy Green New Deals will put millions out of work and drastically increase your electric bill and your taxes,” he added.
Crenshaw is trying to stake out a middle ground in which he cedes some ground to the Left in order to get in the so-called “national discussion” on environmental policy. This is a rehash of the weak brand of compassionate Republicanism that resulted in eight years of Barack Hussein Obama in the White House.
In this day and age, with lines drawn so firmly in the sand, and the left being very clear about the “takeover” they’re unleashing on this country, it’s a big red flag to us when Dems are so eager to work with politicians on the right…especially on one of their core beliefs like “climate change.”
If we want to win against the left, we don’t kowtow to them and support their agenda in any way. We stay in our lane and push our agenda.
But establishment politicians like Dan don’t see it that way. He thinks he can actually work with those vultures, and that’s why Dan is so very dangerous.
Dan will likely tout this as “bipartisan” work and “unity,” but the GOP should never support the climate hoax agenda, nor should we be helping the left in their endeavors, which are never ever “America First.”
It’s too bad Dan didn’t take that energy he has and use it to “unite” the right. He could have stopped being an “environmentalist” for a minute and instead, he could have focused on the sham 2020 election — that and election integrity are far more important than Pelosi’s climate change committee, for crying out loud.
I don’t care what anyone says, my opinion is that Dan Crenshaw is a globalist and he’s really showing his true colors now that President Trump has left DC.
