The NBA used to get great ratings.


Like the rest of sports, Americans loved to escape from the everyday stresses of life and watch their favorite players battle it out on the field or the court.

But all of that changed during the Trump era.

Liberals went nuts with their TDS emotions, and couldn’t control themselves. Every single thing became a political statement – Hollywood movies, award shows, and sports all succumbed to the SJW curse, and Americans tuned out in droves.

And for the longest time, liberal sports commentators, franchise owners, and even the players made excuse after excuse as the ratings nose-dived.

People like LeBron James came up with convoluted, absurd reasons for the tanking views, never once even considering it was their political “woke” activism that was turning people off.




However, we now have solid proof that LeBron’s political activism is the exact reason why ratings have tanked.

LeBron was proven wrong. Completely wrong.

It actually is HIM that’s causing people to tune out.

As they say, if you need a break from politics, turn off sports.

The social justice warriors in the sports media claimed that fans didn’t mind the far-Left takeover of sports in the second half of 2020 — as expected, they lied. According to a new YouGov / Yahoo News poll, nearly half of America changed its sports viewing habits once political and social messaging spread across the leagues.

Because of aggressive woke messaging, three times as many Americans watched sports less than those who watched more, 34.5 percent to 11 percent. 56.3 percent say they watched about the same amount. Though not quite 50-50, the amount of those who changed habits was undoubtedly represented in total viewership declines.

Ratings across all major sports were down in 2020. The NBA, the most political among them, lost over half of its audience in the NBA Finals. A Finals that featured the NBA’s top individual and team draw, LeBron James and the Lakers. That’s not viewers watching less, that’s viewers watching none.

Keep in mind: these declines occurred during a pandemic, where far more Americans were home than normal. Daily work/school commutes were also slashed, allowing viewers to watch later into the night.

Furthermore, the players’ political and social stances were not moderate, but overwhelmingly echoed those on the (loud, angry, and far) Left. Because of the definitive slant, lost interest was disproportionate between political affiliations.

53 percent of Republicans said they watched sports less once social justice messaging became prominent. Only 19 percent of Democrats said the same; 14 percent of Democrats said they watched more.

Those ratios should surprise no one. Athletes told Democrats they had it right; athletes told Republicans they were racist.

What’s telling, though, is that nearly 40 percent of Independents chose to watch sports less for the same reason. The NBA players and many NFL players let Republicans know they were not wanted — but did LeBron James and Malcolm Jenkins foresee so many Independents turning away?

Not everyone in the country suffered from Stage 5 TDS like these celebrities and athletes did.

Most of us led very normal and fulfilled lives while capable President Trump was at the helm –  and we had no desire to watch political nervous breakdowns on TV, especially during a sports game.

Now, the same thing is happening with corporate America. They’re literally following the exact same roadmap as sports and Hollywood did, and they’re expecting a different outcome?

It won’t happen. 


These “woke” companies will end up exactly like “King James” and all the other sports franchises that are in the hole, unable to dig out.

But will they care? Probably not, because all of these organizations and companies have their sites set on China.

This is how China is controlling the US, by literally owning our beloved past-times, corporations, and entertainment.

And that’s a very powerful vice-grip to have over Americans.
