Maher Brutally Exposes Dems Plan To Use COVID To Push Spending

HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher is a liberal, don’t get it twisted but there are times that even he gets tired of their shenanigans and uses his platform to call out their hypocrisy.

During his Friday’s broadcast, Maher was brutally honest when discussing spending bills before Congress calling out leading Democrats who are using coronavirus to push spending as they “always wanted to” do, and bringing up Rahm Emanuel’s old quote. “it’s sort of like the theory, never let a crisis go to waste.”

The conversation was moving toward the lines of how the spending trillions of dollars concept won’t have negative economic implications, when Maher said: “I feel like COVID changed that. You remember that great book, ‘Shock Doctrine’ by Naomi Klein? And it’s sort of like the theory, never let a crisis go to waste. We saw how the Republicans did it when 9/11 happened. It was like, oh, well, we’ve always wanted to invade Iraq again. … And I feel like this is kind of what the other side did with COVID. I mean, they always wanted to send more checks to people who have kids.”

Just a few days ago, Nancy Pelosi told the media, “It’s not about a dollar amount…the dollar amount, as the president said, is zero.”

Looks like Maher might be a great ally on this topic, eh?
