As you likely know by now, Singer R Kelly was convicted recently on all counts of bribery, racketeering, and sexual exploitation of a child, and sex trafficking charges.
CNN reported that jurors found R&B singer R. Kelly guilty of racketeering, including acts of bribery and sexual exploitation of a child, along with separate charges of sex trafficking.
In this federal case in the Eastern District of New York, Kelly faced a total of nine counts — one count of racketeering, with 14 underlying acts that included sexual exploitation of a child, kidnapping, bribery, and sex trafficking charges, and also eight additional counts of violations of the Mann Act, a sex trafficking law.
Kelly was found guilty of nine counts — one count of racketeering and eight counts of violating the Mann Act. Of the 14 underlying acts for the racketeering count, he needed to be found guilty of at least two to be convicted of that count. Jurors found prosecutors had proven all but two of the 14 underlying racketeering acts.
R Kelly is now facing life behind bars with no chance of parole.
So, of course, that starts the rumor mill flowing like hot lava.
And one of the biggest rumors to be churned out of the mill right now is that R Kelly is going to try and cut a deal with prosecutors to get his time cut down by handing over other celebrity pedophiles.
Dredds World is claiming that R Kelly wants to barter with prosecutors information he has on other “celebrities” who he claims has or is engaging in illegal s*xual contact with underage girls.
The insider, who has known R Kelly for decades, explained to us, “[R Kelly] and his team are working with the feds to reduce his prison time. He’ll provide evidence against other celebrities who were pedo**iles, and they’ll reduce his sentence.”
The friend wouldn’t be specific as to who R Kelly plans to snitch on – but claims that one person is a “rapper” and the other is a “huge singer.”
R Kelly has worked with dozens of the biggest names in music, throughout his career.
This sounds very fishy to me, if this were the case, why wouldn’t he have done this prior to the trial? Wouldn’t that have made more sense?
Personally, I think R Kelly’s goose is cooked, and while he may have “dirt” on other people, I don’t think he’s in any position to do any sort of bargaining at all, not after that whopping conviction.
This sounds to me like wishful thinking by a desperate R Kelly fan.
