Steve Bannon Just Played One of His “Trump Cards” Against January 6th Committee

You’ll recall, after Steve Bannon was (absurdly) arrested for contempt of Congress, he stood out front of the federal courthouse and said his case would be fought publicly on behalf of every American who “likes freedom of speech and liberty.” Well, I am happy to announce Steve Bannon is a man of his word, and he’s fighting hard against the sham January 6th committee and he’s doing it in public, for all to see.

And Steve will probably have the public on his side because Americans are so tired of these political witch hunts.

We sat and watched for three long months BLM and ANTIFA destroy US cities, while Democrats ignored the riots and even helped bail the bad guys out of jail. And there was no investigation launched.

And even worse, we just watched as a radicalized follower of BLM mowed down innocent Americans at a Christmas parade, and it’s already gone from the news cycle.

However, unlike those two very serious issues that were brushed off, the January 6th committee is being treated as if it were the “life’s blood” of the country. We’re all supposed to care so deeply that some “lowly peasant” used Pelosi’s phone or stole her podium.

Honestly, nobody cares.

I’ll tell you what, arrest the man who shot and killed Ashlee Babbitt, and then I’ll pay attention to this circus.

Thankfully, Steve Bannon is now leading the charge, and if anyone can expose these frauds, it’s him.

Just The News reported that Steve Bannon is pushing for documents related to his current contempt-of-Congress case to be released publicly, according to a new report.

The 67-year-old former Trump adviser’s attorneys have filed an opposition to the U.S. district court’s protective order for discovery, which would prevent both the defense and the prosecution from releasing evidence or documents to the public.

“In the opposition filed today, Mr. Bannon asked the judge to follow the normal process and allow unfettered access to and use of the documents,” said a statement given to the Washington Post on behalf of Bannon. “Members of the public should make their own independent judgment as to whether the U.S. Department of Justice is committed to a just result based upon all the facts.”

A federal grand jury indicted Bannon Nov. 12 on two counts of contempt of Congress for failing to appear before the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol breach for an Oct. 14 deposition and failing to provide documents requested by the panel. Last week, he pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Members of the panel were interested in questioning Bannon about his activities in Washington D.C. during the week leading up to Jan. 6.

Steve Bannon vowed to give the left a fight, and it looks like it’s happening. His lawyers say the government has no compelling reason to keep those documents out of public view. “The Government offered no reason why it wanted to limit Mr. Bannon’s attorneys in their use of the documents to prepare a defense,” they told the Post.

Go, Steve! Fight them every step of the way, and expose what they’re doing!
