How can we forget the “Instagram Van Life” tragedy that captured America’s attention? This picture-perfect “boho” couple gallivanting around the country in a modern-day hippie van and documenting their travels from New York to Portland on social media.
It’s so eerie. How could this young couple have known that the day they took off from New York, they were both driving straight to their deaths?
Gabby Petito’s body was found in The Grand Teton National Forest. She had been strangled, obviously by her boyfriend Brian, whose body was later found in a Florida nature preserve.
Well, we know exactly how Brian Laundrie died. It was suicide. He killed himself with a single gunshot to the head.
But there’s one big question that remains – where did he get the gun and who did it belong to?
That’s the million-dollar question the Laundire family attorney isn’t answering.
Here’s what Biran Entin, a reporter from News Nation Now said: “Brian Laundrie died of a gunshot wound to the head and the manner of death is suicide, according to Laundrie family attorney Steven Bertolino.”
Full statement from Bertolino: “Chris and Roberta Laundrie have been informed the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head and the manner of death was suicide. Chris and Roberta are still mourning the loss of their son and are hopeful that these findings bring……closure to both families.”
Where did the gun come from? Bertolino isn’t saying.

Well, we may now know where that gun came from, thanks to a report JUST filed by Fox News.
EXCLUSIVE: When Brian Laundrie’s parents reported him missing in mid-September following the strangulation of his former fiancée Gabby Petito, they turned over all of the firearms in their home to the FBI – but one was missing, sources close to the investigation tell Fox News Digital.
Laundrie family attorney Steve Bertolino said Tuesday afternoon that investigators informed the parents that an autopsy had determined their son died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head when he died in September.
It’s unclear whether the missing gun is the one Laundrie used to take his own life. The FBI did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday.
It hasn’t been confirmed that the missing gun is the one that Laundrie used to kill himself, but this seems like an obvious conclusion.
Brian Laundrie is a coward. He murdered his fiance and then made sure whatever happened that day in the Grand Teton forest would remain a mystery.
It just goes to show you what people portray on social media is a facade. Nothing is “real” nowadays, everything is just an illusion of what people wish they had.
What a waste. Two young lives, gone… and we’ll probably never know why.
