How low can Mayor Pete go? While the fake news media tries to convince you that Mayor Pete is some beloved politician, the reality of what people really think about the man who went on a two-month vacation while the supply chain backed up, is abysmal.
And after his latest snooty comments on soaring gas prices, his low approvals might go even lower.
Daily Wire reported that on Wednesday, The Hill published an article which appeared to present Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg in a celebratory and popular light. “Buttigieg has high name recognition, favorability rating in Biden Cabinet: survey,” the headline stated.
However, the first two paragraphs of the article add further context which dilutes these positive implications.
“Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has a higher name recognition and favorability rating than most other Biden Cabinet members, according to a new poll,” the article announced. “The survey, conducted by Morning Consult and Politico, found that 83 percent of registered voters know who Buttigieg is, and 38 percent have a favorable view of the secretary.”
And now, Mr. Unpopular Buttigieg is back to show how completely out-of-touch he really is, with this snobby comment about how Americans can better deal with “high gas prices.”
Here’s what Mayor Pete said: “Buttigieg: Families who buy electric vehicles “never have to worry about gas prices again”
— The Hill (@thehill) November 29, 2021
Imagine telling hard-working Americans, who are struggling right now to make ends meet and put food on the table, that they should go out and spend about $40 thousand dollars on an electric car.
Here are some comments from fed-up Americans:
“Families who buy horses “never have to worry about electricity prices again”
“Gas is too expensive? Why not spend 40k on a new car that doesn’t run on gas. Problem solved peasants.”
“Our Energy Secretary @JenGranholm doesn’t know how much energy we use Our Transportation Secretary @PeteButtigieg doesn’t know how gas prices work Sensing a trend?”
“Yes, and they never have to worry about driving 4 hours to see their relatives in Ohio because it’ll now take 20 hours or more with all the constant stops to charge the battery. “
“Siri – What resources make electricity that supplies charging stations?”
“Very cool message Pete, thank you! Families who choose to only eat beans never have to worry about meat prices either”
“Isn’t this the young man who opined to news media about his $4,500 apartment in Washington not having a home office? “
“The obliviousness of Green Lefties manifest in one quote:”
“This little shit needs step out of the Marxist bubble for a moment.”
“translation: “If you can’t get a loan for 40k you can go f**k yourselves you pleb bourgeoisie blue collar ninnies”
“You realize that, even if it’s fully electric, you’re still beholden to the price of fossil fuels, right? IT JUST RUNS ON TWO DIFFERENT KINDS OF FOSSIL FUEL.”
“This MORON thinks ELECTRICITY Is FREE”
“Why do they think you charge electric vehicles with good vibes?”
“The utter stupidity of this comment is the perfect encapsulation of the idiots in DC.”
The cheapest electric car on the market is about 30K. And that’s bare-bones with no frills whatsoever. Also, it’s fair to note, that finding a “charging station” may not be all that easy, and when you do, experts say that fully charging a car can be done in just 30 minutes, or it may take as long as half a day. How big your battery is, or how fast your charging point is may change the time required. If there’s a line at the charging station, you could be there all day.
How is this “realistic” for most Americans?
Sure, it’s great for white affluent liberals who don’t have to “punch in” at a job, but what about the rest of America?
Not to mention, that when you’re charging your car, you’re not using solar or wind. You’re using fossil fuels, and electricity isn’t “FREE” or cheap.

And speaking of “environmental problems” caused by the left:
The people creating and pushing this unnecessary environmental disaster, want to put hard-working American coal miners out of a job. https://t.co/2c5ZLuhs9l

Once again, this “Green New Deal” nonsense is not a “hotbed” US issue. It’s an issue that very wealthy white liberals care about.
There aren’t a lot of families sitting around the kitchen table trying to figure out how they can lessen their carbon footprint, while Obama and Pelosi buy sprawling seaside mansions.
They’re worried about being able to pay their heating bills this winter and putting food on the table.
The Biden admin is filled with elitist sociopaths who live in a bubble, very, very far removed from the average Americans.
