SHOCK! CDC Director Says They Messed Up With Messaging; Will Do Better In The Future

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, recognized her agency’s poor message in recent weeks, as the Omicron variant’s prevalence in the United States continues to rise.

In an exclusive interview with the Wall Street Journal, Rochelle Walensky said that she could have conveyed key information to the American people more effectively during her first year as head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. “She claims that the epidemic gave her a curveball that she should have seen coming. She believes she should have made it obvious to the public that the new regulations and guidelines were susceptible to change if the nature of the struggle against Covid-19 changed once again, as she believes it did.”

“I believe what I have not expressed is the uncertainty that exists in a lot of these scenarios,” Walensky said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

A media consultant is assisting Walensky in “communicating CDC policies more effectively,” according to the Wall Street Journal. Walensky plans to do additional press briefings outside of those given at the White House, as well as a press conference at the White House.

There was much disagreement regarding the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations on whether those who test positive for COVID with or without symptoms should be isolated and for how long.

The Journal went on to say, “During the epidemic, she added, tens of thousands of institutions improved their computerized record-keeping systems, with some of the funds coming from the federal government. Dr. Walensky believes that there is still a long way to go. The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, a non-profit organization, has estimated that modernizing public-health data infrastructure for the federal government and 3,050 state and local health agencies will cost around $30 billion over a ten-year period.”

“This is not the end of the story for COVID… Clearly, this is not a one-and-done endeavor “Walensky went on to say more.
