[VIDEO] New NYC Mayor Forced to Call 911 On His Way to Work

New York City is a disaster.

Communist and former Mayor Bill de Blasio ran the city into the ground, by vilifying police officers and emboldening criminals.

A lot of the good cops left the force, and de Blasio replaced them with “brown shirt order takers” who now run around the city thuggishly enforcing his tyrannical vax mandates.

It’s a total mess. People are fleeing the city in droves. And those left behind are facing down soaring violent crime and living in a filthy city that’s crippled by tyrannical vax and mask mandates.

The good news is de Blasio is gone. But the bad news is that New Yorkers elected yet another Democrat.

And he’s already having a really rough first-day.

Mayor Eric Adams was on his way to work, with a gaggle of press in toe, when he was forced to call 911; as a street fight broke out just below him, and the whole thing was caught on video.

NBC New York reported that Eric Adams, rode the subway to City Hall for his first day on the job, hours after being sworn into office Saturday in a Times Square ceremony as the nation’s largest city rang in the new year.

During his New Year’s Day commute, the former New York City police captain chatted with reporters and New Yorkers on the train and even called 911 to report a fight after witnessing two men tussling near the subway station.

Adams, 61, faces the immense challenge of pulling the city out of the pandemic, taking office as the city is grappling with record numbers of COVID-19 cases driven by the omicron variant.

As confetti continued to drift across Times Square, Adams recited his oath of office. Associate Justice Sylvia O. Hinds-Radix of the state Supreme Court’s appellate division swore Adams in as he placed one hand on a family Bible and his other held a photograph of his mother, Dorothy, who died in 2020.

He made no remarks nor took questions from reporters, but appeared on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” shortly after being sworn in.

He told Seacrest he had a few parties to attend but that he would “be up early in the morning, working for the city of New York.”

I don’t know if this guy will be any better than Bill de Blasio. You almost can’t imagine it’s humanly possible for him to be worse.

But at the very least, he doesn’t *appear* to be a full-blown Communist, so there may be a glimmer of hope. But at this point, if New York was really serious about getting the city back on track they’d elect a hardcore Republican like Rudy Giuliani.

Until then, I think NYC will tread water, at best.

But we’ll see. Let’s keep our eye on this new guy.
