I have been a Republican all my life. I was raised by staunchly conservative parents, and all of my extended family is Republican as well.
Before I was old enough to vote, I was part of the “Young Republicans” on my high school campus.
My entire life has been about politics and Republicans and I toed the line for those nitwits for years. I defended George W. Bush over the “weapons of mass destruction” mess and the Iraq war, I held my nose and voted for McCain, I volunteered on Romney’s campaign. I’ve met Marco Rubio, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Newt Gingrich, and George W. Bush.
So, when Trump came along in 2015/2016 and opened my eyes to the media and our government in general, it was a hard pill to swallow, but nothing was as hard to gag down as the truth about the GOP, because I spent my life supporting those establishment bums.
But it was a different time. If you had an “R” by your name, you were on my side, no questions asked.
And because many of us asked no questions, these bad guys got away with a lot of sh*t.
And that’s why they hate Trump so much because he revealed and ruined their little game.
Remember how GWB sat quiet as a church mouse for 8 years while Obama destroyed this country and weaponized intel and the IRS? And then the moment an America First real conservative came into office, George came out of hiding and slammed him every chance he got…
He’s a RINO in every single sense of the word.
So, today, when I saw this video featuring George W. Bush, a literal traitor to the conservative movement on every level imaginable, resurface I just had to share it with you.
As conservative journalist Ryan Gridusky says, it’s your “weekly reminder” that Bush was a terrible president.

A lot of people give GWB a “pass” because it was 9/11. I used to do that, but not anymore.
Here’s what people online are saying:
“A guy who threw a shoe at George Bush is a hero we have, but we never deserved”
“How much different would the world be if that shoe landed?”
“I stand with the shoe guy”
” I left my brief time in the GOP because of people like W”
“Kerry and Gore wouldn’t have been any better, they’re all about the same, and I think that’s a good point we should all remember”
“This is why when the government starts talking about war I don’t usually take it with a grain of salt. I still remember that day waking up and bush on tv talking about how he attacked Iraq last night”
“We’ve learned a lot about our government since that day, let’s never allow them to do this to us or anyone else again”
That last line is so true.
We know a lot more today about the people running our government, and even the ones in the shadows who we can’t see, and we need to make sure that they never get away with the things they’ve gotten away with in the past.
Keep fighting and shining a light in the shadows – it’s harder for them to play games in the bright light of day.
