Fox News Brian Kilmeade Says Donald Trump Needs To “Learn To Lose”

While appearing on Media Buzz with presenter Howie Kurtz, Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade said that former President Donald Trump needed to “learn to lose” when it came to the outcome of the 2020 presidential elections, according to Kilmeade.

Kurtz said, while introducing his colleague, that “at the core of the angry media coverage of January 6 is Donald Trump’s insistence — we sometimes receive many pronouncements from him a day — that he did not lose the election.” “Do you have any opinions on the subject?”

Kilmeade agreed, saying, “Yeah, I do.” “I believe that in order to succeed in life, one must learn to lose. Hillary Clinton needs to grasp this concept. Al Gore, for all intents and purposes, did learn that lesson. “Stacey Abrams didn’t seem to get this.”

Then Kilmeade went on to suggest that Trump put together a “A-team” of lawyers — not the ones who were present — and “show us the districts and show us how.” Kilmeade was alluding to the dozens and dozens of lawsuits that Trump had lost in state and federal courts across the country during the campaign. “I haven’t seen anything like it.”

Despite conservatives’ doubts about Joe Biden’s ability to win, the Fox & Friends co-host cited the example of Andrew Jackson, who “lost a controversial election despite winning the popular vote,” then cut a deal to become secretary of state, and then “goes on to win the next two elections and become even more powerful.”

“In life, we have to learn to lose,” Kilmeade remarked, referring to both Democrats and Republicans.

“Does it constitute anti-Trump bias on the part of the media to state that there is no serious proof of widespread fraud?” Kurtz inquired.

It’s not, Kilmeade said, agreeing with Kurtz that Trump’s “re-litigating 2020” is not beneficial to the nation.

As Kurtz pointed out, this was not the first time Kilmeade has expressed himself in this manner on broadcast. He pushed his audience to accept the election results on Friday’s Fox & Friends show, and he especially called out Trump’s erroneous election fraud allegations. “That is detrimental to the nation,” he said.
