Just In: “The View” Gets Shut Down Yet Again

The uber-vaccinated cast of ABC’s “The View” are back in isolation.

That’s right, the show’s in-studio production was just shut down yet again, thanks to multiple hosts being plagued with COVID.

Decider reported that filming in the studio was fun while it lasted. Amid the surging Omicron variant of COVID-19, The View is back filming in isolation, leaving all four permanent hosts and fill-in Ana Navarro chatting about hot topics from their own homes. The news comes after two of the co-hosts, Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin, tested positive for COVID-19. Although both have since recovered from the virus, and are double vaccinated and boosted, the ABC talk show will be filming remotely through the end of this week.

Further, Goldberg is out for a bit has she recoups from the illness. In her place will be Joy Behar as moderator, with Navarro in her guest seat for the remainder of this week. Behar opened today’s show after a two week hiatus with the news of The View‘s new COVID protocols.

It’s very interesting to see all these vaccinated people who’ve been trashing the “dirty” unvaccinated Americans and pushing to exclude them from society, catch COVID.

I’d guess it’s the latter.

They’re too far gone.
