Want To Finally Cut The Cable Cord In 2022? Check Out These Top Streaming Services

People who advocate boycotting Hollywood and actors and actresses on social media aren’t really doing so in their own homes; they’re still watching television. By cutting the cord and considering your streaming options, you can take on the cable giants who control network news programming.

Streaming subscriptions are now the standard, regardless of whether or not you’ve canceled cable. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, HBO GO and Apple TV+ are the big players in the streaming market, but there are literally hundreds of additional services out there fighting for our attention.

Although it may not be a common household item just now, it does not rule out its eventual inclusion. Streaming subscriptions are a great way to stay on top of the hottest new shows and encourage your friends to do the same.

FUBO TV

It costs $64.99 per month to subscribe to fuboTV, which provides access to over 90 channels of live TV. Regional sports networks are included on this package in addition to 27 of the top 35 cable networks (RSNs).

As of 2021, fuboTV will provide a mobile Sportsbook app that suggests wagers based on what viewers are currently watching. Currently only accessible in a few states, it will be made available in many more by the year 2022.

A “more to come” hint was dropped by CEO David Gandler, implying the return of both TNT and TBS. There is a good chance that the Discovery networks will return, which will be welcomed by many non-sports fans.

For example, fuboTV includes DVR (250-1,000 hours), three simultaneous streams, and the Lookback function that allows you see what you missed within 72 hours after the original airing. For those who like to observe current events from the beginning, there is the Startover option.

SLING TV

Stream live TV with two different subscription options from Sling TV. More than 30 channels, including Disney Channel and ESPN, are included in the $35 a month “Sling Orange” subscription package. The “Sling Blue” package, which costs $35 per month, provides access to around 40 channels, including local affiliates of Fox and NBC.

In the third quarter of 2021, the service gained 117,00 customers as a result of the return of NFL and college football. Newer interfaces, on the other hand, have been reworked to make navigation easier, enhance grid guides, and allow for more personalisation.

Having Sling TV by 2022 means you’re losing out on a slew of savings and promotions. NFL Network, FOX Sports 1, BET, CNN, ESPN and AMC are all included in the channel list. Each customer receives 50 hours of cloud DVR space as part of the live TV subscription they subscribe to.

NETFLIX

In addition to 3,000+ movies, 2,000+ TV shows, and Netflix Originals such as Stranger Things, Squid Game, Tiger King, and Bridgerton, Netflix offers a subscription video streaming service. New series and films are being added all the time. Roma, Marriage Story, Mank, and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom are some of their Oscar-winning exclusives.

It is one of the few streaming services that enables offline downloading, as well as 4K and HDR streaming, which sets it apart from the competition. Netflix also provides a Shuffle Play option if you’re one of those individuals who wastes a lot of time trying to discover what you want to watch.

Although it is more expensive than some other services, the original material and other high-quality entertainment makes it impossible to turn down.

DISNEY+

More than 13,000 movies and TV shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more are available to view for free on Disney+. More than 60 nations and 21 languages are represented.

Disney+ and Netflix are still going head-to-head in the original series department, with plans for 50 new Asian originals and new material from Marvel, Pixar, LucasFilm, and Disney Pictures to be released over the next several months. For example, “The Adventures of Buck Wild” from the “Ice Age” series will be released soon. Additionally, “Eternals” and new chapters of “The Book of Boba Fett” will be added to the streaming service.

Disney+ is also capable of delivering content in 4K and allowing for downloads (on mobile). With four simultaneous streams and seven profiles, the service is ideal for families with children.

HULU

There are hundreds of entire seasons of exclusive series, popular movies, children’s programming, and Hulu Originals, such as The Handmaid’s Tale, available to watch on Hulu’s service.

Additionally, Disney’s massive investment in the streaming service may possibly replace Comcast’s collection with a wide range of new films.

Documentaries like “Pharma Bro,” “Women of the Movement,” and “Ailey” will all be available on Hulu in 2022, among many more. Other than that, there will be a new hot original called “Sex Appeal.”

Hulu + Live TV has seen a price increase, which includes the ESPN+ and Disney+ bundles.

HBO MAX

All Warner Bros. films are available to watch on HBO Max as soon as they are released in cinemas, and the whole HBO catalog is available for subscription.

Discovery+ will be unstoppable after it has merged with HBO Max, CNN, and Warner Bros. It has been predicted by David Zaslav that the content budget for his company is expected to reach $20 billion by 2018. It doesn’t matter what, the Discovery/Warner company will be the buzz of streaming media.

Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts” will premiere in 2022, along with “The Gilded Age,” “Peacemaker,” and a slew of other new shows.

Offline downloads on mobile devices, up to five viewing profiles, three simultaneous streams, audio descriptions, and more are all available with HBO Max, as are all the other popular on-demand streaming services.

PHILO TV

For $25 a month, you may subscribe to Philo, a live TV streaming service aimed for those who like watching shows and movies.

With a price tag of only $25, Philo is one of the most affordable live TV streaming services on the market. MTV, Paramount Network, TLC, Food Network, Hallmark, A+E, and more are all included in this package.

In addition, it has an unlimited DVR that allows you to save your recordings for a year. For those who like to avoid commercials, this is a terrific way to establish a library of on-demand programming.

Those that were left off the list include such like as Apple TV+Amazon Prime VideoPeacock, and DIRECTV STREAM are also great contenders that The Streamable recommends.
