Well, it looks like another liberal nut job has decided to leave Twitter upon Elon Musk’s purchase.
One of Musk’s biggest rivals in the electric car industry, Henrik Fisker, has left the platform following the change in ownership.
As Yahoo News reported, Fisker has left Twitter after his former rival Elon Musk agreed to buy the social media network for $44 billion this week.
“I believe 100 percent in free speech,” Fisker, who manages electric vehicle producer Fisker Inc., posted on Instagram on Tuesday. However, I do not want a competitor to aggressively regulate or control my free expression. And I don’t want a competition to have a say in how my fans perceive Fisker as we expand.”
Fisker’s Twitter account is no longer live, but his company’s account is still active as of Tuesday, with a photo of Henrik Fisker test driving a car.
Sounds like this guy is just really butt-hurt.
And of course, Fisker was never really a true rival to Elon.
Fisker Automotive, Fisker’s first automobile company, was a competitor to Tesla in the early 2010s, and for a time, they were virtually on equal footing as Fisker pledged to bring his stylish sedan, “The Karma,” to market, followed by a line of sleek cars and crossovers. However, the company encountered troubles with its battery packs and was plagued by really bad luck, including the loss of a shipment of vehicles in 2012 thanks to fires and floods caused by Hurricane Sandy.
In 2013, the company declared bankruptcy.
So needless to say, it looks like Elon has won yet again.
