UPDATE: Amber Heard Will Be Spitting Fire When She Hears What Johnny Depp is About to Do Again…

Well, we have an update on this story and Depp/Pirates fans won’t like it.

Depp’s people have responded to the rumor that he will return to “Pirates of the Carriden,” and said it’s not true.

From Daily Wire:

Fans knew it was too good to be true. Just one day after reports claimed Johnny Depp was in talks to reprise his iconic role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean,” his rep denied those rumors outright.

“This is made up,” Depp’s spokesperson told NBC News in a statement.

The rumor started following a report from the Australian site PopTopic which claimed the actor was in talks with Disney to return to the lucrative franchise. PopTopic noted that the deal could be worth $301 million, which in itself was a clue that it may not be real. The publication credited an anonymous source with breaking the story.

“Disney is very interested in patching up their relationship with Johnny Depp,” the source allegedly told the outlet. “They are very hopeful that Johnny will forgive them and return as his iconic character.”

It’s likely that the rumored offer, $301 million, came from a comment Depp made during testimony for his highly publicized defamation case against ex Amber Heard. While expressing his anger with Disney for firing him from ‘Pirates’ without proof of wrongdoing, the actor “testified under oath that he would not take another ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise role for $300 million and a million alpacas,” The Daily Wire previously reported.

Well, if Amber Heard wasn’t already spitting fire, she will be now, after hearing this latest bit of fantastic news about her former hubby Johnny Depp.

It looks like Disney has had a sudden change of heart, and now they want Johnny back to reprise his famous role of Captain Jack Sparrow.

That’s the word on the street, and the new deal will be worth over 300 million bucks.

The New York Post reported that embattled actor Johnny Depp is rumored to be getting paid more than $300 million to return to “Pirates of the Caribbean,” after getting unceremoniously dumped from the franchise in 2018 amid abuse allegations by ex Amber Heard. A source close to Disney allegedly dropped the bombshell in a new interview with Aussie outlet Poptopic.

“The deal is reportedly for Johnny Depp to return as Jack Sparrow,” the little leaking birdie claimed to the Down Under entertainment website.

The 59-year-old “Donnie Brasco” star had played the swashbuckling buccaneer in five
“Pirates” movies over the last 19 years, before Disney dropped him from the sixth and final installment in the wake of 36-year-old Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed which Depp claimed defamed him as a domestic abuser. This reportedly caused the “Edward Scissorhands” icon to lose out on a $22.5 million payday.

The insider revealed that Disney are interested in patching the relationship up with Depp and have recently reached out to him.

They said: ‘They reached out to the actor prior to his defamation trial against Amber Heard and asked whether he would be interested in returning for another pirate film or two.

However, following Depp’s highly publicized defamation suit win earlier this month, it appears that the House of Mouse could be willing to reinstate him in the iconic role.

“Disney are very interested in patching up their relationship with Johnny Depp,” the source alleged to Poptopic. “They reached out to the actor prior to his defamation trial against Amber Heard and asked whether he would be interested in returning for another ‘Pirates’ film or two.”

Ouch for Amber…

I wonder if she finally regrets writing that 8 million-dollar WAPO op-ed yet?

That’s how much it’s costing her… but actually much more than that… I don’t think Amber will ever work in Hollywood again.

That op-ed truly was the dumbest move in history.
