Report: FBI is Now Combing Through Our Social Media

The FBI has a PR and branding issue right now. They have for a while now, but as with all things that are ignored, it’s gotten worse. The once highly respected bureau is facing a lot of backlash and mistrust from a huge swath of the American people who believe the department has become very partisan and politicized. We watched as Hillary Clinton got off scot-free, after housing tens of thousands of highly classified emails on an unsecured server in a closet near her bathroom. She then bleached her hard drive while he was under a subpoena, yet, I don’t recall anyone raiding her home, do you? Look, we all know the country has gone bonkers with Stage 5 TDS, and you can make up all the excuses you want, and claim you’re the “good guys” and everything you do is by the book, but a lot of people see it very differently and for good reason. We don’t condone violence, and if you see people talking that way online, don’t get involved and alert authorities. But, criticizing the FBI is perfectly fine. I have called them “communists” because I believe that’s exactly how they’re behaving. That’s not “agitation” that’s a legit concern, because it’s starting to feel like we’re living in North Korea.

But we don’t want to stir up any violence, and I don’t want to see anyone getting “raided” over a tweet (just kidding). So be careful with what you say.

Violence is what the FBI is worried about.

They reportedly had an encounter with a violent former vet, who they shot and killed when they said he tried to breach their Cincinnati office.

We’re now hearing that the FBI will comb through social media posts looking for “agitated people.”

I mean, there are a lot of “agitated” people out there, on both sides. Joe Biden never did that “unity” thing he promised. Actually, he just keeps upping the division, and many believe the FBI is part of that.

Western Journal reported that as Americans are rightfully frustrated with the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago, the Biden administration is warning federal and local law enforcement about the possibility of “domestic terrorism.”

The Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, FBI and Customs and Border Protection also issued warnings using very similar language, Just the News reported.

“Last night, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice issued a Joint Intelligence Bulletin, accessible via the Homeland Security Information Network, providing information on the potential for domestic violent extremists to carry out attacks on federal, state and local law enforcement and government personnel or facilities,” CBP Commissioner Chris Magnus wrote in a memo to employees this weekend.

He said the warnings were necessary “in light of an increase in threats and acts of violence, including armed encounters, against law enforcement, judiciary and government personnel, in reaction to the FBI’s recent execution of a court authorized search warrant in Palm Beach, Florida.”

There have been legitimate attempts at violence against the FBI since the raid, and this is completely unacceptable.

Following the attempted attack in Cincinnati, some federal police agencies “were asked last week to monitor social media accounts of known political influencers for signs of agitation and FBI officials reached out to some social media platforms frequented by conservatives,” a senior law enforcement official told Just the News.

While warning about potential attacks is one thing, monitoring conservatives on social media is another. Given the federal government’s history of villainizing conservatives, it is hard to trust these agencies to determine what constitutes “domestic terrorism.”

After all, these are the same people who classified parents as “domestic terrorists” for wanting to have a say in their children’s education. This precedent certainly casts doubt on the federal government’s ability to determine what is or is not a threat from conservative influencers on social media.

In addition to the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, Magnus said some Americans have been pushed towards violence because of their anger about the crisis at the southern border. Even in his description of this problem, he showed how out of touch he is.

I was always a big fan of the FBI. I thought nothing bad about them. And then the Russia hoax happened, and I was very disillusioned and disappointed and my opinion has only gone downhill since that time.
