Canada’s Trudeau Is Attempting To Destroy Gun-Owner’s Rights

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been toying with the notion of outlawing or “freezing” weapons in Canada since last summer, using the spate of mass shootings in the US as justification, and it now looks that he is prepared to take unilateral action. Bypassing lawmakers and political rivals in parliament, Trudeau has announced an immediate countrywide ban on the sale, purchase, and transfer of firearms.

The action is referred to as a “administrative action,” similar to executive orders that presidents in the US employ to go around the constitution and the system of checks and balances in place in the government. Such direct prohibitions frequently face significant legal challenges and, at least in the US, can be disregarded by governments and the general public (as we witnessed with the covod mandates over the past two years).

At a press conference on Friday to introduce the new law, Trudeau said, “Responsible leadership compels us to act when people are being killed, when people are being wounded. We have witnessed far too many instances of terrible catastrophes using weapons recently, once more.

Again, mass shootings in the US, not Canada, served as the catalyst for Trudeau’s attack on Canadian gun rights. However, pointing out that the Prime Minister, a frequent participant in the World Economic Forum, had a sudden, intense interest in gun control soon after the massive Trucker Convoy demonstrations against Canada’s harsh measures at vaccination passport restrictions may not be too far-fetched.

In Canada, there was a great deal of opposition to the trucker demonstrations, and if the freight workers had complied, the supply line of the nation may have been shut down. The government and the mainstream media then launched an assault campaign to brand the anti-passport movement as “terrorists” for no other reason than the fact that they didn’t want to have what they believed to be a questionable mRNA mix injected into their bodies. They never tested the vaccine to determine if it stops transmission, as pharmaceutical behemoth Pfizer just revealed under oath.

Numerous odd narratives and legislative initiatives were developed in the US and Canada in an effort to quell revolt as it became clear that non-compliance was far more common than the establishment had previously thought. Gun control has frequently been mentioned as a top objective by the same individuals who tried valiantly to impose regulations and passport requirements but were unsuccessful. This is not likely to be a random coincidence.

Although licenses are still necessary, making access to weapons more of a privilege than a right, Canada is one of the few nations in the world with widespread gun availability comparable to that of the US. Trudeau is determined to reduce Canadians’ access to firearms and appears to be modeling his policies after those in the UK. The majority of firearms were outlawed in the UK, beginning with pistols before gradually imposing restrictions on the others.

When advocating for further restrictions in the US, propagandists in the UK and the EU will assert that gun ownership is “legal.” Due to the fact that permissions are available but seldom granted by the government, this is somewhat of a scam. The upper middle class and the wealthy are typically the only people who can afford the permission procedure, classes, and expensive costs required in owning a handgun in Europe. These persons often possess a pristine background, own property, and must be able to offer a “reason” for gun ownership that is acceptable to government officials.

Given their short range, shotguns make up a significant fraction of the firearms in private hands in the UK. Because of this, most authoritarian governments continue to let citizens to own them long after outlawing all other types of weapons. Only about 3% of the population in the UK has a permit.

Overall, the pattern of gun control legislation tends to give the people the impression that they still have access to weapons while, in reality, the majority of them do not and never will. Guns are given to the wealthy while the middle class receives nothing, and this is done on purpose. In terms of individual rights, the US and other countries differ greatly. If Canadians do not respond appropriately, Canada may be moving in the same path as the UK and Europe.
