I was sitting here, and I felt my chair rock, and no, it’s not a rocker, it’s a Laz-Y-boy. Actually, I am in Michigan, and we don’t have earthquakes here, but I could feel something major happening over in Arizona, and trust me, it’s a doozy. I am sure I don’t need to tell you that the senate race in AZ is very tight. It just recently flipped from a “Dem leaning” to “toss-up,” so that’s amazing. But Mark Kelly will be tough to beat, that’s for sure, and that’s why the race between him and our America First guy Blake Masters is so darn tight.
And the last thing we needed in that already tight scenario, was a third-party libertarian candidate… but that’s what the folks in AZ were dealing with. Marc Victor, a good guy, was running as a Libertarian. But it was terrible timing and that could have been the final nail in Blake’s political coffin.
But all of that just changed, so that was the “earthquake” you likely felt… we no longer have to worry about a third-party candidate, but there’s even more good news… that third-party candidate just endorsed Blake Masters!
We’re back, baby!
Fox News reported that the Libertarian candidate in Arizona’s Senate race has dropped out and endorsed his Republican opponent.
Libertarian Senate candidate Marc Victor, who was polling at 1% in a New York Times/Siena College poll released Monday, dropped out of the race Tuesday, throwing his weight behind Republican nominee Blake Masters. Masters is facing Democratic incumbent Sen. Mark Kelly in the midterm election.
“I’ve said from the very beginning that the reason I’m running for Senate is to promote and get us in the direction of freedom and peace and civility,” Victor said in a YouTube video announcing his endorsement.
Victor said at one point in his video, “[Masters] really is — in his heart and in his mind — he’s in favor of doing everything he can to get us very sternly, very smartly in the direction of ‘live and let live.’ And that seems like a good tradeoff to me.”
Masters, who sat down with Victor for a 20-minute recorded phone call on Monday, is hoping the competition-turned-endorsement will give him a boost in the polls.
Kelly leads Masters 51%-45% in the New York Times/Siena College poll, outside the 4.4 percentage point margin of error.
With one week before the midterm elections, Fox News’ Power Rankings put the Arizona Senate race as a toss-up.
The Cook Political Report adjusted its rating in the race from “Lean Democrat” to a toss-up, suggesting the GOP’s chances are improving in a crucial race that could determine which party takes control of the Senate this fall.
The rating change comes “amid a spate of tightening private polling that has left Democrats worried about one of their strongest incumbents,” Cook Political Report analyst Jessica Taylor wrote.
I can’t tell you what good news this is. I had been stressing about this, thinking that the libertarian would suck enough votes from Blake, that he’d lose the race. I know it’s a lot of votes, but in a very tight race, that small amount can decide everything. But now, that’s not an issue, and even better, the libertarian has endorsed Blake. It’s amazing. I can’t believe this happened, actually. What a huge and fantastic surprise. This puts us in the driver’s seat, folks.

Here’s what people online are saying:
“@Victor4Senate, That right there is a class act move! Thank you for putting the good of the country above personal gain. I hope others follow your example.”
“I’m guessing this will push independents and undecided voters over.”
“He did the right thing. This is a good move, and we should celebrate this. “
“Is this an “oh wow!” that I didn’t see coming and am really happy about”
“This is YUGE.”
“I’m not gonna lie, in a race as tight as this one was, I really thought the libertarian could lose it for us, so this is great news”
“The fact that Marc Victor endorsed him on top of it all, is really fantastic. This is great news. Wow. did not see this one coming”
“Phew. Was worried about this, tbh, but glad this was the outcome. Now, we’ve got a chance to beat Mark without the third party stuff bringing us down”
“The race is close, and this just made it closer.”
“Marc gave Blake a great and powerful endorsement. This is great news, and let’s hope AZ now does the right thing”
If you’re in Arizona, you can’t sit this one out. They need you. This entire country needs you and your vote. Your vote matters more than you can imagine right now. So, please, don’t help Dems by sitting at home, get out there and vote RED.
Vote R all down the ballot, and let’s take power away from these scumbag communists.
