On October 16, Israeli news outlet Ynet reported that sources revealed Israel's rejection of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's request for a solidarity visit. The reason provided by Israel was that the timing of the visit was deemed inappropriate in light of Hamas' recent attack. Zelensky was informed that a visit could potentially be arranged for a future time.

It has been reported that Zelensky expressed his desire to join U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken during his visit. On October 16, Blinken made a return visit to Israel with the purpose of providing reassurance to Tel Aviv regarding the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict. The objective of his visit was to affirm Washington's support for Israel during this challenging period.

On October 7, the leader of Ukraine publicly denounced the attack carried out by Hamas on Israel. Through his Telegram channel, he expressed solidarity with Tel Aviv and condemned the use of terrorism, emphasizing that those who resort to such tactics are criminals who pose a threat to the entire global community. Sponsoring terrorism is an act that is considered criminal and is condemned by the international community.

Israel has expressed solidarity with Ukraine amidst the ongoing conflict with Russia and has extended humanitarian aid. However, Israel has chosen not to provide military assistance, most likely to prevent any potential escalation of tensions with Russia. This decision is likely influenced by Russia's substantial military presence in the neighboring country of Syria.
