During a Sunday church service, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis criticized Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, accusing her of harboring a deep-seated animosity. A member of her legal team and an associate of Trump's prosecution, Nathan Wade, is said to have had an affair with her recently. As she discussed the challenges she has encountered while working on Trump's case, the district attorney addressed Big Bethel AME Church in Atlanta on Sunday.

As Willis's emotions became stronger, she made the observation, "I don't think either of us at the time had an idea what I would inherit or gain as a DA." The ideal pedigree doesn't include a divorced single mother who doesn't associate with the correct people or have a proper family history. I was simply too humble to take on such a challenging project.

"Are seven of the most high-profile cases in the US going to pop up here?" she persisted. I beg you, end it now. My family's and my own lives would be threatened so often; in fact, I now consider it abnormal if I do not get at least two death threats every week. My goodness, you didn't warn me that I would be called the N-word more often than Fani.

After directing his criticism toward Greene, Willis said that she was "filled with hate."

"Oh my God, I truly do not wish to emulate the actions of those who assaulted me," she said. “I never want to be that person, Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has never met me but has let hate fill her spirit.”

"I don't understand why this woman, who is respected as a leader in my state, hasn't made an effort to communicate with me." "Enough," Willis said. Whatever you do, I disagree with it. What I do not agree with, however, is when individuals put your or your family's lives in danger. She may tell me that.
