Mother's Tragic Act: Stabbing, Freeway Drama, and an Online Astrologer's Eerie Eclipse Prediction

The woman who stabbed her partner to death in their Los Angeles apartment on Monday and then threw her two children from a moving SUV onto the freeway, killing her infant daughter, was an astrologer who had written online a few days before the attack that the coming solar eclipse was "the epitome of spiritual warfare."

During the days before the violence, 34-year-old Danielle Cherakiyah Johnson, who goes by the name "Ayoka," wrote on X as a horoscope advocate and music artist. Lt. Guy Golan said the violence started hours before the eclipse reached its peak in Southern California. Cops have looked at Johnson's posts, but they do not think the eclipse played a role in the killings "because we just do not know why she did what she did," Golan told the AP on Wednesday.

"We have taken all the facts we can, but without being able to interview her and without having something more tangible than a post on X, I do not know how much weight you can give to somebody (saying) there is an apocalypse and attribute it to one of the most horrific murders we have had in LA," Golan, who heads the homicide unit that looks into it, said. The Los Angeles Times was the first to report on Johnson's killing-related social media posts. She told her more than 105,000 X fans on April 4 to "put on your shield and keep your heart in the right place." " It is clear that the world is changing right now, and if you ever needed to choose a side, now is the time." "Do not give up, you got this."

"Wake up, wake up, the end of the world is here" was all she wrote on April 5. Anyone with ears should listen. Now is the time for you to decide what you think. There were also racist rants, vaccine plot theories, and end-of-the-world threats on her social media, along with astrology forecasts and prayers for happiness. Also on April 5, she wrote "LOVE" a lot of times. It has a lot of different services, such as "zodiac healing work," a "alcohol balancing system," and a "aura cleanse." Johnson has had an online presence and a following for years. The music magazine The Fader talked to her about astronomy in 2016.
