Hunter Biden's Attempts to Dismiss Illegal Gun Charge Rejected by Federal Judge - AGAIN!

Hunter Biden has tried more than once to get his illegal gun charge in Delaware thrown out by a federal judge, but each time the judge has said no.

His father, President Joe Biden, is running for reelection in early June, so the trial will start then. It will be the first trial ever against the child of a living US president.

In the case that everyone was watching, federal judge Maryellen Noreika made her decision on Friday. Hunter Biden has pleaded not guilty to federal charges of lying on gun forms and having a gun while high on drugs.

When Hunter Biden's lawyers said that he was being unfairly prosecuted because he is the son of President Joe Biden, the judge pointed out that the attorney general who chose special counsel David Weiss, who is in charge of both of Hunter Biden's cases, was chosen by his father, who runs the government.

"The President, who is also the defendant's father, is in charge of the Executive Branch that charged him." The Defendant's father chose the Attorney General who runs the DOJ and answers to him. "That Attorney General chose the Special Counsel who made the wrong decision about charging in this case, and Defendant's father was still President at the time," the judge wrote.

According to the facts, the defendant's claim that his own father attacked him because he was his son does not make sense, she said.

Hunter Biden's deal with Weiss in 2023 did not protect him from the present case, and the judge did not buy his claim that the charges were politically driven.

The judge said that Hunter Biden "has failed to offer clear evidence" that Weiss dropped last year's plan to settle the dispute informally in favor of a criminal case because of Hunter or Joe Biden's "political affiliations."

"There appear to be legitimate considerations that support the decision to prosecute," she wrote.

The docket does not show a decision yet on a key move from Hunter Biden that questions whether the gun rules used against him are valid.

Furthermore, Hunter Biden is facing several federal tax charges in California, in addition to the gun case in Delaware.

In the tax case, the judge also did not agree with many of the same points about the 2023 deal and how Weiss' investigation was allegedly political. The tax case will start in late June.
