Charges have been brought against a Texas woman who allegedly shot her husband after catching him with another woman. After discovering her husband cheating on her with an unnamed woman, Stephanie Arevalo, 34, reportedly shot him in the leg. This led to Stephanie's arrest by the Bryan Police Department.

According to reports, the event happened in Bryan's 4500 block of Woodbend Drive, which is located between Conquest Circle and Creekwood Drive. KBTX claims that in addition, the accused made threats to shoot the lady she discovered with her husband, albeit she chose not to follow through on them. The victim, whose name has not been made public by authorities, was treated for the non-life-threatening wound and later released from a local hospital.

Upon their arrival, police officers disclosed that Arevalo had made the 911 call herself. Arevalo allegedly admitted to police that she knew she would go to prison and that her husband should have been shot.

Following that, she was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault/Family Violence with a Deadly Weapon at the Brazos County Sheriff's Office. After two days, Arevalo was freed on bail.

She is not alone, however, in being accused of beating her spouse for adultery.

The discovery that her spouse was having sex with a different woman when Nicole Denison, a 29-year-old flight attendant for Allegiant Air, arrived home near Tampa in July 2020 startled her equally.

Police papers that The Smoking Gun was able to get claim that Denison gave her 34-year-old husband a "black eye" after punching him in the left eye.

Before the event, she and her husband—a bartender and fitness instructor—had been married for over three years.

During the incident, Denison is accused of also giving her husband scratches on his forehead and giving him a bruise on his right arm. According to reports, Denison smashed her husband's acoustic guitar against the wall, leaving a large hole as a consequence of her fury.

She was taken into custody and charged with minor domestic violence, but the next day she was freed. There is currently no scheduled court date for Arevalo. Arevalo, however, may wind himself in jail if found guilty.
