Jamal Murray's Fiery Fling: Drama Unfolds in Nuggets vs. Timberwolves Game 2

In the midst of the second quarter, Jamal Murray, obviously irritated with the referees, flung a hot pack onto the field as the Nuggets were being hammered by the Timberwolves in the first half of Game 2.

The object's origin was first unknown as it skittered across the floor and almost missed Karl-Anthony Towns' foot on a layup that gave the Timberwolves a 24-point lead.

The authorities temporarily halted the game because to the item, but no penalties were called, and the Wolves continued with a 61-35 advantage at the half. However, a TNT video subsequently showed that Murray had gotten to his feet at the end of Denver's bench and thrown the heat pack at referee Mark Davis.

Even though the referees allowed players to play on both sides of the court in the first half, Murray was one of several Nuggets players and coaches who got into arguments with them. For every eight calls on the Nuggets, Minnesota had six fouls in the first half.
