The Manhattan grand jury hearing the evidence against the 76-year-old former president has another witness scheduled to testify on Wednesday, according to a law enforcement source who spoke to Fox News on Monday. If Donald Trump were to be indicted in the case, his arraignment would not be anticipated until next week. Who will give a testimony on Wednesday is unknown.

Trump stated that he anticipates being charged and arrested on Tuesday in a post on his Truth Social account over the weekend.

In the event of an indictment, according to a source close to the former president, "Trump will surrender in Florida and go to New York to be arraigned." Also, rather than participating in a virtual session, the former president would need to physically appear in Manhattan court.

The 45th president is allegedly being investigated by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for falsifying business records and conspiring to break campaign finance laws in connection with his reimbursement of $130,000 to his former fixer Michael Cohen for the alleged hush money payment to Daniels in 2016, right before the election.

The payment allegedly served as an effort to silence Daniels regarding a relationship she claimed to have had with Trump ten years prior. Trump has angrily denied any wrongdoing and urged his followers to reject any prospective charges against him.

In order to prepare for the potential fallout from Trump being the first former president in US history to be prosecuted, New York City, state, and federal law enforcement organizations met Monday at a high level behind closed doors.
