Miscalculating Dems Are Doubling Down On Biden After 2022 Midterms; Wait For It

Democrats were bound to draw the incorrect conclusions from their inflated performance in the midterm elections. The unpopular 80-year-old president is now being supported by the Democratic Party in the 2024 election, as is only natural.

President Joe Biden is in favor of the Democrats’ intention to move South Carolina from being the first state primary in the country to take Iowa’s place as the first state primary in 2024. You may recall that in 2020, Biden was fourth in Iowa but won in South Carolina, where he was able to overtake Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and win the nomination.

Because the Democratic Party wouldn’t be the Democratic Party if it didn’t make decisions purely based on people’s skin color, “diversity” is given as the justification for this move. But the timing will also work in Biden’s favor because it eliminates Iowa off the early ballot and downplays the significance of New Hampshire, whose primary will coincide with Nevada’s. Retail politics are important in both states, and as we saw in 2020, Biden would prefer to run for office from his basement than get out into the real world and stumble his way through interactions with voters.

Former President Barack Obama’s adviser David Axelrod highlighted the message the party is trying to get through to potential candidates. The message, according to Axelrod, is to “forget about it if you’re an insurgent and thinking of opposing the president because there’s not going to be a chance here to do it.”

The message from the Democratic Party to any new candidates is to not even attempt a primary against the 80-year-old incumbent who would become 82 at the start of the next campaign and 86 if he were to complete a second term as president. That same 80-year-old man, whose approval rating is currently at 41% with 53% disapproving, has been underwater since August 2021. In order to prevent their own campaigns from failing during the midterm elections, Democrats even prevented Biden from visiting crucial swing states.

They are currently uniting around that person for 2024.

The Democratic Party has made the decision to support a horrible candidate in 2024 because Republicans wasted a red wave in the midterm elections by endorsing lousy candidates. In addition to being old, unpopular, and nonsensical, Biden has shown himself to be an ineffective president. Democrats believe that he will help them win in 2024 for whatever reason.

Of course, Republicans might turn out to be correct after all if they choose to pick former President Donald Trump.
