Right after the Ukrainian president spoke to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday night, Tucker Carlson criticized Volodymyr Zelensky. Since Russia invaded Ukraine in February with the intention of seizing Kyiv and deposing Zelensky as president, the country has been under siege. Those initiatives have so far fallen short because the Russian military now finds itself trapped in Ukraine.
Throughout the somewhat longer than 20-minute lecture, Zelensky wore his signature brown fatigues. His comments were broadcast on Fox News, taking up the first three minutes of Tucker Carlson Tonight.
Zelensky requested further aid in his speech, and Carlson along with millions of Americans, who have long opposed the billions of dollars in aid the US has supplied to Ukraine, wasted no time in condemning him.
He informed his audience, “As far as we know, nobody has ever addressed the United States Congress in a sweatshirt, yet they love him much more than they love you.
The host of Fox News mentioned Zelensky’s earlier-in-the-day trip to the White House and claimed the Ukrainian leader wears a strip club manager’s outfit: “The president of Ukraine arrived to the White House dressed like the boss of a strip club and started to demand money. Amazingly, nobody ejected him. Instead, they carried out his instructions. Zelensky will continue to receive whatever he requests from American taxpayers for “as long as it takes,” according to Joe Biden.
Biden never clarified what “it” is, which is telling. To what does “as long as it takes” refer? Redirect the Russian troops to the frontiers before the invasion? Sounds logical. The majority of Americans who pay attention are inclined to believe that. However, that is not what Zelensky means or what he is requesting.
Carlson then said that Zelensky demanded the overthrow of Putin as a prerequisite for peace negotiations. He stated, “Zelensky is calling for regime change in Russia.
Then Carlson also made an allegation that helping Ukraine “goes toward that purpose,” and many Americans will agree to that. Carlson asked, what happens if he ‘wins’ then? What kind of pandemonium results from that? Considering that? As soon as we assist Zelensky in overthrowing the Russian government, who will own the larger nuclear arsenal? Who will succeed Putin? Zelensky then received criticism from Carlson for looking for additional help.
The manager of a Ukrainian strip club was fawned over in order to give him billions more from our own failing economy, he claimed. It may be impossible to think of a situation that would be more demeaning for the greatest nation on Earth.
