Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., a leading Biden rival, received the support of actress Alicia Silverstone on Wednesday despite acknowledging her dissatisfaction with the Democratic Party.
Silverstone posted on Instagram, "Last year, I terminated my Democratic Party affiliation and registered as an Independent voter." "Like many others, I am consistently extremely disillusioned with governmental leadership."
"The divide, the falsehoods, [and] the profiting at the expense of the people and public health," the "Clueless" actress said she was sick of.
Giving the Biden challenger a chance, the actress pleaded with those who "feel disenfranchised by our government." Kennedy, she maintained, could bring the nation together and restore "young and old's faith in our government."
Silverstone is well recognized for her support of animal rights and anti-vaccination views. In her article, Silverstone acknowledged working with Kennedy for more than ten years on matters relating to the environment and children's health.

As a "genuine leader" and "courageous fighter," she applauded the candidate for standing up for "mothers, children, the earth, fairness, and freedom."
"I adore his idea of world peace, harmony, and equality. His dedication to defending civil rights, worker rights, and the health of our children inspires me. We require leaders who can put an end to wars, pollution, poverty, and inequality. That leader is Bobby," Silverstone wrote.
