After shockingly declaring that former President Donald Trump is "toast" if half of the 37-count charge against him is accurate, former Attorney General Bill Barr has been the buzz of the political world for the past week. After receiving personal jabs from the former president for a week, Barr is now responding with a harsh evaluation of his former employer.

Barr reiterated his belief that Trump is solely to responsible for his present condition in a surprising Sunday interview with Robert Costa on CBS.

He is not the victim in this situation, nor is this an instance of government overreach, according to Barr. "He initiated the entire issue himself. Yes, he has previously been the target of unjustified witch hunts. But that doesn't change the fact that he also has serious character flaws and behaves recklessly. And that causes catastrophes, such as this one, which are extremely damaging and harm whatever political movement he is affiliated with.

Trump does have "many excellent traits" and "accomplished some good things," according to the former attorney general, but his actions eventually threaten the GOP mission.

He regularly engages in dangerous behaviour that puts his political supporters and the conservative and Republican agenda in danger because he is a consummate narcissist, the speaker claimed.

Barr responded, "Yes, I do," when asked if he thought Trump had lied to the Justice Department.

He continued with this astounding postscript: "He will always prioritize his own interests and sating his own ego over all other considerations, even the interests of the nation. There is no doubt in my mind. This is the ideal illustration of it. He acts like a 9-year-old boy who constantly pushes the glass near the edge of the table while challenging his parents to stop him. It's a way for him to establish himself and demonstrate his power over others. Additionally, he is a very selfish guy who will always put his needs and ego above that of the nation. However, a disturbed man like him cannot use our nation as a therapeutic setting.
