West tweeted his announcement.
"I join the search for the truth. In the accompanying video, he stated, "I enter in the pursuit of justice, and the president is simply one vehicle to seek that truth and justice, what I've been trying to accomplish my entire life.
Abortion rights, living standards, housing accessibility, and healthcare were among the main reasons West decided to run.

West is presently a professor emeritus at Princeton University and formerly held the position of professor of the practice of public philosophy at Harvard University.
