According to court records reviewed and shared Thursday by Daily Mail, Christine Baumgartner, Kevin Costner's estranged wife, accidentally addressed the rumour that she made him leave his popular show, "Yellowstone." In order to preserve her family's privacy, Baumgartner claimed she has "avoided being public about the reasons for our divorce," according to the documents. I didn't force Kevin to leave the "Yellowstone" show, he said.

"Kevin's attacks on me in the media are bad for our family,' I said. According to the documents, the former model claimed that she felt pressured to leave without a temporary child support arrangement in place. According to Daily Mail, she also claimed that she is the reason Costner is now pursuing his passion for writing, which is one of the main reasons people assume he's quitting "Yellowstone" after five exemplary seasons.

"Throughout our marriage, I pushed Kevin to pursue his interests and live his dreams, even if it meant being away from our family for a while. I urged him to start a new band and get in touch with his college bandmates. He developed into a singer/songwriter and undertook lengthy international tours. He invested in several businesses, some of which he did thanks to my connections, Baumgartner claimed in the documents.

According to reports, Costner's decision to leave "Yellowstone" was unrelated to his divorce. Other rumours claim that he doesn't like his character, John Dutton, and that this is the real reason he wants to leave. He is now concentrating on producing his own western television series, called "Horizon."

"Despite all of Kevin's commitments, I always made sure to maintain as much of a connection between him and the kids. According to the documents, Baumgartner added, "I never questioned the time or commitment it took for him to do what he loved.

There is no way to predict when the "Yellowstone" saga will come to an end given the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike and the possibility that the Screen Actors Guild will join in, potentially turning it into a full-blown industry strike. And that stinks right now.
