Former President Donald Trump described his legal battle and election campaign in apocalyptic terms on Saturday in his first public appearance since last week's indictment. Trump informed Georgia Republicans, "This is the last battle." "With you on my side, we'll destroy the Deep State and kick the war criminals out of our government."

Globalists, Communists, "the false news media," and the "sick political elite" are among the organizations that Trump said will be expelled, according to the New York Times. He said, "We will beat Joe Biden, and we will free America once and for all from these monsters.

Nearly 90 minutes of Trump's speech to delegates in Columbus took place in a facility that produced mortars, artillery, and cannons for the Confederate Army to employ during the Civil War. As soon as Trump mentioned Democrats, his supporters booed and jeered. According to the BBC, he referred to the 37-count charge as "ridiculous and unjustified."

He described both Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and Special Counsel Jack Smith as "lunatic Marxists," adding that both are "deranged." The Justice Department, according to Trump, "has to be cleaned up quickly." He said that "sinister forces" are in charge of the nation.

According to USA Today, the former president gave false descriptions of how he handled secret materials and the related investigations. Kari Lake, who was unsuccessful in her bid for governor of Arizona, joined Trump to the podium and vowed to protect him in front of 75 million armed citizens.

According to Yahoo News, she stated, "That's not a threat." That was a message of public service. In order to address the state Republican convention there, Trump was travelling next to North Carolina. Before he was charged, both trips were planned.
