Next week, former president Donald Trump and Fox News host Sean Hannity will participate in their second town hall discussion. This comes just days after Trump announced that he would skip Tucker Carlson's candidate forum for the 2016 election.

Less than two months after his previous Trump town hall on June 1, the news network revealed on Tuesday that Hannity would host a town hall with Trump in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on July 18.

The town hall on Fox News will start at 9 p.m. ET and last for about an hour. The event won't air live; rather, it will be pre-recorded earlier in the day and aired later.

The presidential candidate forum on July 14 will feature Ron DeSantis, Mike Pence, Vivek Ramaswamy, Tim Scott, and Nikki Haley, all of whom are primary rivals of Donald Trump. According to reports, Trump will skip the event due to a "scheduling conflict." Trump has, however, frequently asserted that, given his high polling positions, he has little interest in taking part in any primary debates.

The Blaze tweeted on Tuesday, "It's our understanding that President Trump had a scheduling conflict that couldn't be changed and won't be able to attend the summit. We hope Team Trump will give @theFAMiLYLEADER's invitation another thought.

This weekend, Trump will participate in Turning Point USA's Action Conference and deliver a speech alongside Carlson and other notable conservatives, including Dan Bongino, a former Fox News host who also left the network in April. It is not DeSantis' planned appearance at the conference of Turning Point USA.
