During a recent interview, Ron DeSantis, a Republican presidential candidate, expressed his disagreement with former President Trump's persistent assertions of victory in the 2020 election. DeSantis confidently stated that Trump's claims were unfounded, affirming that Trump had indeed lost the election.

During the interview, which is scheduled to be broadcasted on NBC Nightly News on Monday evening, the governor of Florida was questioned by Dasha Burns, a correspondent from NBC News, regarding his stance on the outcome of the 2020 election. When prompted to provide a definitive response in the form of a binary choice, DeSantis articulated, "No, it is evident that he lost; Joe Biden currently holds the position of the president."

The interview follows President Trump's recent indictment pertaining to his endeavors to retain power subsequent to his defeat in the 2020 presidential election against President Biden. The indictment, spanning 45 pages, asserts that Trump orchestrated a campaign characterized by deceit, fraud, and conceit, with the aim of impeding a fundamental aspect of democratic governance.

DeSantis's remarks to NBC News align with his statements made during a campaign event in Iowa on Friday, wherein he asserted that the allegations surrounding electoral fraud in the 2020 election lacked substantiation.

During the interview, DeSantis raised concerns regarding various aspects of the 2020 election, including the grants provided by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg for election administration, the accessibility of mail-in ballots, and the permissibility of third-party collection and submission of voters' ballots as allowed by state laws.

The Governor of Florida also made reference to Hunter Biden, the son of President Biden, and the controversy surrounding his laptop.

The individual expressed their opinion that the election did not meet the standards of a well-conducted electoral process. However, it is also my contention that Republicans failed to mount a robust counterattack. It is imperative to engage in proactive resistance when confronted with such circumstances.

Furthermore, DeSantis attributed the loss to Trump, drawing attention to Trump's endorsement of the CARES Act, a comprehensive COVID relief measure valued at $2 trillion that was enacted in March 2020. Approximately $400 million was allocated to provide assistance to states in managing election administration, a significant portion of which was utilized by numerous states to expand the accessibility of mail-in voting options amidst the ongoing pandemic.

However, it is imperative for Republican voters to contemplate the following matter: What were the underlying reasons for the substantial influx of mail-in ballots?

Due to the fact that … The governor of Florida made a statement suggesting that President Trump had delegated governmental authority to Dr. Anthony Fauci, a prominent figure in the White House Coronavirus Task Force. They readily adopted the implementation of lockdown measures. The CARES Act was implemented to provide financial support for the implementation of mail-in ballots throughout the United States.
