According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, there is a direct confrontation between the United States, its European allies, and Moscow. Lavrov believes that Ukraine is being used as a tool in this conflict, suggesting that the U.S. and its allies are at war with Russia.

After delivering his speech at the United Nations, Mr. Lavrov, in a conversation with journalists, criticized the Western nations for providing material assistance to Ukraine in its conflict against the invading Russian army. According to his statement, the support given can be seen as an act of aggression towards Russia.

The situation at hand can be referred to by various names, but it is evident that there is a direct conflict between them and us. The term "hybrid war" is often used to describe the situation, but it is important to acknowledge the actual circumstances, as stated by Mr. Lavrov in reports from English-language media. The opposing party is actively involved in hostilities against us, employing the Ukrainians as a means to achieve their objectives.

The characterization in question is strongly disputed by both the United States and NATO. The stance of the Biden administration is that the United States will refrain from deploying military personnel to Ukraine or participating in any form of direct armed conflict against Russia. In his recent address to the United Nations, President Biden emphasized the United States' firm stance against Russia's "naked aggression" towards its neighboring country.

The question arises as to whether the independence of any nation can truly be considered secure if we were to permit the division of Ukraine. During his address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Mr. Biden made a statement. Based on careful consideration, it is my respectful suggestion that the answer to the question is negative. In order to prevent potential acts of aggression in the future, it is imperative to take a firm stance against the current aggression today.

The annual United Nations meeting was not attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The highest-ranking Russian official to formally address the gathering was Mr. Lavrov.

The remarks made by the individual regarding a potential direct conflict between the United States and Russia have raised concerns. These comments suggest that if Moscow perceives a Ukrainian counteroffensive that is gradually making progress, it may adopt a more aggressive stance and potentially initiate attacks on targets beyond Ukraine.

The concerns regarding Russia's intentions have been further fueled by the statements made by various Russian officials, including former President Dmitry Medvedev. In a recent statement, Mr. Medvedev has expressed the possibility of Moscow resorting to the use of nuclear weapons in the event of a potential loss in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

In addition, it appears that Mr. Lavrov has expressed skepticism regarding the possibility of Russia rejoining a U.N.-supported agreement that facilitated the transportation of grain and other food supplies from Ukraine's Black Sea ports.
