Investigative reporter Dan Christensen from Florida Bulldog has reported that a significant number of employees from the Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) are expected to face charges related to fraud. Christensen estimates that the number of individuals implicated in this alleged fraudulent activity will range between 50 and 70.

The individuals in question have been accused of engaging in fraudulent activities by submitting false applications and subsequently obtaining substantial loans through the Federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), which was initiated in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a source, there are reports circulating at Broward Sheriff's Office regarding an ongoing investigation related to fraudulent loans obtained through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). It is believed that approximately 50 to 70 employees, including sworn deputies, detention deputies, and other staff members, are under scrutiny.

The source further suggests that indictments in connection with this investigation are imminent. According to the individual, the information they received indicates that there are approximately 15 to 20 law enforcement officers. These officers consist of street deputies, as well as their supervisors. Additionally, the remaining individuals in this category are detention deputies, who serve as jail guards, and civilian employees at the sheriff's office.
