Following the recent release of the new iPhone 15 models by Apple, users have taken to various online platforms such as Apple's forums, Reddit, and social media to express their concerns regarding the devices. These user complaints indicate that all four models of the iPhone 15 have the potential to generate more heat than anticipated when being used. According to CNBC's review, it was observed that the iPhone 15 Pro Max experienced heating issues.

One user on Apple's forums recently shared their experience with the newly released iPhone 15 Pro, expressing their concern about the device's temperature. According to the commenter, the phone becomes uncomfortably hot, making it difficult for them to hold it for extended periods of time.

The latest additions to Apple's lineup, namely the iPhone 15 Pro priced at $999 and the iPhone 15 Pro Max priced at $1,199, boast a revamped titanium enclosure accompanied by an aluminum frame. This design alteration has been implemented with the intention of enhancing the repairability of these high-end models. According to Apple, the issue of overheating in the new models was not caused by the titanium chassis design.

Apple attributes the issues to bugs found in certain applications as well as a bug within the iOS system itself. However, the company asserts that these problems can be resolved through the implementation of software updates. According to Apple, an upcoming update for iOS 17 has been announced to specifically target and resolve the mentioned issue. It has been emphasized by Apple that this forthcoming update will not have any negative impact on the performance of their devices.

According to Apple's website, there are certain situations where users may observe an increase in the temperature of their phones. These instances include when the device is being set up from a backup, during wireless charging, while using graphics-intensive applications or games, or when streaming high-quality video content. According to Apple, it is considered normal for electronic devices to generate heat when they are being used extensively. The company assures users that as long as iPhones do not display any temperature warnings, they can be used without any safety concerns.

The current sales performance of the new iPhones indicates a strong demand, as evidenced by extended ship times and the presence of lengthy queues outside Apple stores during the initial release.

According to a recent note from JPMorgan analysts, the lead times for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, 15 Plus, and 15 models are higher compared to their predecessors, such as the iPhone 14 Series. In fact, the iPhone 15 Pro Max currently has the highest lead time ever recorded across all product variants since the tracking of lead time data began.

In a recent blog post, Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst specializing in Apple's supply chain, expressed concerns about the potential impact of heat issues on the sales of the upcoming iPhone 15.

In the past, Apple has encountered notable challenges during product launches. However, it is important to note that these issues have not significantly affected the company's overall future prospects.

The iPhone 4, which was released in 2010, had a design flaw that had the potential to cause dropped calls. In order to address the issue at hand, Apple made the decision to provide complimentary cases to its customers. In 2012, following the release of the iPhone 5, Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, issued an apology for the shortcomings of Apple Maps, acknowledging its issues with bugs and unreliability. The iPhone 6, which was launched in 2014, faced significant criticism due to its susceptibility to bending when subjected to pressure.
