Hostages Allegedly Killed in Gaza: Hamas Claims Airstrikes by Israeli Military

According to Hamas, a militant group operating in the Gaza Strip, they have made a claim that 13 hostages who were being held following a violent attack over the weekend have been killed. These alleged deaths are said to have occurred as a result of airstrikes carried out by the Israeli military. It is important to note that among the reported casualties are individuals from foreign countries.

According to reports, a militant group has been found to be holding approximately 150 individuals as captives. Among the captives are said to be Israeli soldiers, civilians, and there is even a possibility that some of them may be U.S. citizens. As of 4 a.m. Washington time on Friday, there has been no official response or confirmation regarding the alleged deaths of hostages from Israel.

According to the Times of Israel, the Israeli military has informed the families of 97 Israelis who have been taken hostage by Hamas that their loved ones are currently being held.

The specific foreign countries to which the alleged deceased hostages belonged were not specified by the militant group.

The ongoing conflict in Israel and Palestine has resulted in a significant loss of life, with the death toll surpassing 2,500. Additionally, thousands of individuals have sustained injuries as a result of the escalating violence. As of early Friday morning, the ongoing war has resulted in the loss of 27 American lives, while an additional 14 U.S. citizens remain unaccounted for.

According to the United Nations, the Israel Defense Forces issued a directive on Thursday evening, instructing the evacuation of northern Gaza. This area is inhabited by approximately 1.1 million individuals. Hamas, on the other hand, advised the Palestinian population to stay inside their residences and alleged that Israel was involved in what they referred to as "psychological warfare."
