Tragic Incident in Maine: Manhunt Ended Afterr Suspect Found Deceased in Apparent Suicide

Robert Card, the individual responsible for a tragic incident in which a minimum of 18 lives were lost and numerous others were injured in Maine, has been discovered deceased as a result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to TMZ, Card's body was discovered in the woods. Law enforcement officers are expected to share additional information about the incident during a press conference at 10 p.m. The news has been reported following a search conducted by authorities for Card, who had engaged in a shooting incident at a bowling alley and a bar in Lewiston. As a precautionary measure, residents were advised to remain indoors and take shelter. According to reports, Card possessed the qualifications of a trained firearms instructor and had prior military experience. Following his enlistment in 2002, he served as a petroleum supply specialist in the Army Reserve. 

Prior to the tragic shooting incident, it was reported that Card had been experiencing auditory hallucinations, where he claimed to have heard voices. Additionally, he had made threats indicating his intention to carry out a violent act by targeting a National Guard base located in Saco. During the summer, he was admitted to a mental health facility for treatment. However, after a few weeks, he was discharged and released from the facility. 

According to KCRA, the age range of the victims involved in the mass shooting spanned from 14 to 76 years old.

Arthur Fred Strout, 42 7. Maxx A. Hathaway, 35 8. Stephen M. Vozzella, 45 9. Thomas Ryan Conrad, 34 10. Michael R. Desiauriers II, 51 11. Jason Adam Walker, 51 12. Tricia C. Asselin, 53 13. William A. Young, 44 14. Aaron Young The following are the names and ages of four individuals: Robert E. Violette, aged 76; Lucille M. Violette, aged 73; William Frank Brackett, aged 48; and Keith D. Macneir, aged 64.
