Inside his home just days before Christmas, a tragic incident unfolded as a 17-year-old individual confessed to shooting two of his friends, leading to the unfortunate death of one of them. The teenager made a chilling revelation when confessing to harboring a long-standing desire to commit homicide.

Based on court documents obtained by KHOU 11, it has been revealed that Connor Hilton, a young individual, intentionally enticed two of his teenage friends to come to his residence on December 23. The pretext for this gathering was the display of a revolver that he had purportedly persuaded his mother to purchase on his behalf. During the demonstration of the weapon, Hilton proceeded to shoot both victims in the head without any regard for their well-being. On the subsequent day, Ethan Riley, who was 18 years old, met a tragic fate and lost his life. Meanwhile, Benjamin Bliek, who is 19 years old, is currently in critical condition.

During the shooting incident, there was a third person who happened to be present at the scene. This individual, upon realizing the danger, quickly sought refuge in the bathroom. From there, they promptly took action by contacting the police as soon as they heard the sound of gunshots. According to the account provided by this person, they claimed to have heard Hilton say the unsettling phrase, "What have I done?" while passing by the bathroom door. Upon the arrival of the officers at the scene, the gravity of the situation became apparent. Hilton was visibly distraught, and the victims were found lying on the floor. Additionally, a revolver was discovered on the table.

During the course of the investigation, Hilton made a disturbing admission regarding his thoughts and intentions. He revealed that he had been contemplating and harboring a desire to commit a homicide for a considerable amount of time. In his search, he actively pursued the acquisition of a firearm, driven by the purpose of using it to inflict harm upon another individual, and in some cases, even contemplating self-inflicted harm. According to the complaint, Hilton demonstrates a clear understanding of the seriousness of his actions and recognizes the importance of taking responsibility for them.

Hilton was initially accused of committing two counts of aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury. However, after posting a bond of $1 million, Hilton was able to secure his release. On Monday, the individual in question was rearrested and faced charges of murder. Hilton is currently being held in police custody as they await the next steps in the legal process. In this tragic case, the attorney representing him, Jennifer Carpenter, refutes his version of events regarding the acquisition of the firearm. This denial introduces an additional element of intricacy to the situation.

According to Hilton's attorney, Jennifer Carpenter, there is no evidence to suggest that Hilton's mother bought a gun for him.

In a statement released through their attorney on Thursday, the family of Connor Hilton expressed their heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. The Hiltons have been deeply affected by this tragic situation and are struggling to cope with its devastating impact. The statement further expressed gratitude on behalf of the Hilton family towards those who have extended their love and support. It specifically acknowledged the individuals who shared positive remarks about Connor's character and overall good nature. The family is requesting ongoing prayers for all individuals impacted by the situation, with a particular emphasis on the families of the victims.

The community is currently in a state of shock and mourning due to the chilling confession made by a teenager from Texas. The devastating impact on the victims' families is a result of the tragic loss of life.
