Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) firmly denied the reports suggesting that she struck her ex-husband in the kisser. However, it is important to note that the Colorado police are currently investigating a potential altercation that took place over the weekend, adding further intrigue to the situation.

According to The Daily Beast, her ex-husband Jayson Boebert summoned the police to the Miner's Claim restaurant in Silt, Colorado, on Saturday. An anti-Lauren Boebert super PAC on X/Twitter first brought attention to an incident in which he claimed to have been a "victim of domestic violence." In an interview with The Daily Beast, Jayson Boebert claimed that his ex-wife had repeatedly hit him. Lauren Boebert refuted the accusation.

Boebert released a statement saying, "This is a sad situation for everyone that keeps escalating and another reason I'm moving." "I refrained from striking Jayson in the face, and there were no arrests." I will discuss the bogus allegations he made against me with my attorney and consider all of my legal alternatives.

Jayson Boebert, meantime, said that he would want the police to halt their inquiry. "I wish for nothing to occur," he said to the Denver Post. "I was working through a tough conversation with her."

Boebert has had a tough time lately. She said this month that she will compete in Colorado's more conservative 4th congressional district rather than the state's 3rd congressional district for reelection. She was led out of a theater in September after vaping while her date and she were making out during a performance of the musical Beetlejuice. She gave security the finger as she left the building. She closed her business in 2022 since the lease was not extended.
