Former President Trump expressed his regret for not being able to attend the E. Jean Carroll trial on Thursday due to his commitment to attend his mother-in-law's funeral. He criticized the judge overseeing the case for not granting a postponement for the day.

"It is with great sadness that we report the passing of the first lady's mother." During a press conference in New York City, Trump mentioned that the funeral is scheduled for tomorrow. He had spent the day in court prior to the conference. "In a situation like this, one might have expected the judge to exercise some leniency regarding the timing of the trial. It would have been reasonable to assume that they would allow me to attend every trial day, considering the circumstances. I had witnessed the consequences of not being present during the first trial, when the lawyers strongly advised against my attendance, citing it as demeaning. Their argument was supported by the lack of evidence and substance in that particular trial, and I fully grasped the implications of their statement." There seemed to be little justification for attending the event, and it would be advisable to refrain from going.

In his latest statement, Trump expressed his determination to attend all future proceedings, citing his belief that the judge assigned to the case holds a strong bias against him.

"It was a deeply unfortunate incident," Trump explained, recounting the events. "We had simply requested a one-day delay in the trial, allowing me to attend the funeral tomorrow, and then proceed on either Friday or Monday, or any other time that suited the court's schedule." "He firmly stated that there will be no changes to the trial, it will proceed as planned."

In a recent statement, President Trump recounted a conversation with a judge, who allegedly told him that he had to choose between attending a funeral or a trial, but not both.

"The overall reception of the event was highly critical." Trump expressed his strong disapproval, describing it as terrible. "He faced a difficult decision: attend the funeral and potentially miss the trial, or skip the funeral altogether."

He remarked, "That individual is quite unpleasant." Many people have criticized his behavior, calling him a harsh judge. He strongly opposes President Trump. It is clear to all those present in the courtroom that the current proceedings are nothing short of a disgrace. It is a matter of great concern and disappointment.

Trump claimed that Judge Lewis A. Kaplan was appointed by Clinton.

Amalija Knavs, the mother of former first lady Melania Trump, sadly passed away last week at the age of 78.

Trump has been involved in a court case this week, as part of a civil defamation damages trial. The trial is related to Carroll's lawsuit, where she claims that he sexually assaulted her in a department store dressing room in the 1990s.

In the second trial, a federal jury in New York City reached a verdict in May, finding Trump not liable for rape but holding him liable for sexual abuse and defamation. A hefty sum of $5 million has been mandated for payment by the former president.

In a shocking revelation, Carroll, 79, claims that she was raped by Trump at the Bergdorf Goodman department store in Manhattan back in 1996. Carroll recounts a fortuitous encounter between the two individuals at a store, where Trump was in search of a gift for someone special. According to her account, she claimed that he sought her guidance and they went shopping together. However, the situation took a distressing turn when he allegedly coerced her into a dressing room and subjected her to an assault.

Trump denied the allegation, prompting Carroll to file a defamation lawsuit against him, alleging that his response had a negative impact on her reputation.

In response to Carroll's allegations, Trump and his legal team vehemently deny the claims, asserting that they are completely false. Trump himself suggested that Carroll's motives may be driven by a desire to boost sales of her book.
