Donald Trump, the former president, said that Joe Biden and other presidents, as well as himself, would benefit from the Supreme Court's decision on the issue of presidential immunity.

In an interview with Fox News's Sean Hannity on Thursday, Trump said that "you will have a president that's not going to be able to do anything" if the court revokes presidential immunity. Because, Trump said, "the president of the opposing party, if it is the opposing party, will indict the president for doing something that should have been good once he leaves office."

The Supreme Court turned down Special Counsel Jack Smith's request for the justices to decide on whether President Trump is immune from prosecution for acts he did while in office in order to win the 2020 election, bypassing the appeals process. Oral arguments on the subject were heard by the appeals court earlier this month, and a decision from the three-judge bench is anticipated shortly.

Presidents won't take action if they don't have immunity. There will be men who fear taking any action and just sit in office, according to Trump. The former president said that Biden had "killed our country with his policies," although he "probably meant well," and stated that the decision may have an impact on him.

"Well, I think it's terrible what he did, but he probably, I don't know; it's hard to believe, but he probably meant well," Trump said when asked whether he would still have immunity after leaving office. Though it's difficult to accept that he didn't do any harm, the guy is inept. However, you must give the president immunity. The former president also criticized Democrats for their campaign, which portrays the present state of affairs as "democracy in peril" and targets him.

"That's all they have," Trump said, adding that it would be difficult to provide Biden with a platform to run on given Democrats' management of the economy, the border, and international crises.

"He is incapable of connecting two sentences." There are many steps up there, but he is unable to locate them. They are everywhere, I assure you. He is unable to find his way off," Trump went on. "After giving a brief address, he is unable to exit the platform. It cannot be lengthy, therefore it must be brief. Look at what's happening: the globe is blowing apart. He is incapable of negotiating.
