So, here's the deal. After testifying on Thursday, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis addressed claims of having an "improper" relationship with a lawyer she hired. And guess what? She said the Georgia election subversion case against the former president will have to be withdrawn.

Now, let me break it down for you. Willis, in her attempt to stay as the chief prosecutor in the Georgia 2020 election meddling case against Trump and his Republican friends, gave a testimony in the Fulton County Courthouse.

During her testimony, Trump had something to say to Fox News Digital. He claimed, "There is no case here." According to him, it was all a big charade. The phone call was perfect, flawless. But get this, Willis is supposedly using this case to get her lover some serious cash from Trump.

Trump didn't hold back, calling for the lawsuit to be dismissed and branding Willis as "disgraceful." He even went on to say that they can't establish a case and that the whole thing was just a trick to collect money for her lover.

Crazy, right?

Willis revealed earlier this month that she recruited special prosecutor Nathan Wade to handle Trump's case, but she refuted claims in her testimony that their connection produced any financial advantage, either direct or indirect. According to Trump's lawyers, Wade's hire gave Willis an unfair advantage since he covered their many vacation expenses. Wade also testified at the hearing, stating that he and Willis ended their relationship last summer and that they did not start dating until 2022.

In January, a Georgia court granted Trump's request to dismiss the state's criminal prosecution pertaining to his purported effort to tamper with the results of the 2020 election, on the grounds that he has presidential immunity—a defense he has used in past legal actions against him. In December, U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan made the decision that Trump is not exempt from prosecution in his Washington, D.C. subversion case.

"It is a horrible thing to behold for our nation, and it is all about trying to stop someone who is killing them in the polls," Trump said.

"This is weaponization on a scale that no one has ever seen before; it is a complete collapse of justice and law and order. There has never been anything like this, said Trump.

Ashleigh Merchant, a lawyer representing Trump co-defendant Michael Roman, who previously worked in the White House and on the campaign, spilled the beans on the connection between Willis and Wade. Merchant insisted that the charges be dropped and that Willis and her entire office be kept out of the case.

Warning Merchant on Thursday, Willis said, "You've been prying into people's personal lives." "You just don't get it. I feel like I'm the one on trial here. These defendants are facing trial for allegedly trying to manipulate the 2020 election. No matter how hard you try to put me on trial, it's not happening."
