A few unidentified pals will be crucial to President Joe Biden's reelection campaign. There are a lot of campaign groups and funding that will be supporting President Biden in 2024 general election. FF PAC, or Future Forward, will be one of the most important. FF PAC has received millions—and probably will continue to get millions—from Future Forward Action USA, a nonprofit organization that FF PAC shares both its name and its leadership.

As per the year-end financial report that FF PAC submitted to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on January 31, the hybrid political action committee's total revenue in 2023 was $25.3 million. FF PAC received around $8.3 million from Future Forward Action USA, which makes up almost one-third of the organization's annual fundraising total.

One of the most significant donors to FF PAC in 2020, during then-Vice President Joe Biden's presidential run against then-President Donald Trump, was Future Forward USA Action. Records from the FEC show that it donated $61 million to FF PAC in 2019 and 2020. That is nearly 40% of the $151.4 million that the FF PAC was able to gather throughout the campaign.

A hybrid PAC is the FF PAC. As per the FEC, it has the authority to request and receive an infinite amount of funding from people, businesses, labor unions, and other political groups. It is required to keep up two bank accounts: one for independent expenditures on voter drives and ads, and another for direct payments to federal politicians.

Future Forward USA Action is exempt from some disclosure laws, since it is a 501(c)(4) organization, unlike other money connected to political campaigns. The public must regularly get updates on the financial disclosures made by FF PAC, Joe Biden for President, the president's main campaign committee, and Biden Victory Fund, his nonqualified joint fundraising committee.

The FEC mandates monthly reports on who is funding these funds, how they are using their donations, how much money they have in the bank, and which federal politicians they are endorsing or opposing in an election year such as 2024.

Future Forward Action USA gave FF PAC over $16.3 million for the 2022 midterm elections. That is almost 53.4% of the approximately $30.6 million that the FF PAC raised in 2021 and 2022.

The non-profit 501(c)(4) Future Forward USA Action is free from taxes. The Internal Revenue Service states that “social welfare organizations” are a common example of this kind of organization. Additionally prohibited by the agency are private gain and endorsing or opposing a certain political candidate. Social welfare agencies may, however, take part in some political activities as long as they are not their main focus.

FF PAC is not on any social media platforms or has a website. Future Forward USA Action simply has a basic, two-page website that lacks a contact page. Rather, it provides the number for the switchboard at the US Capitol.

As per its tax documentation from 2022, Future Forward USA Action's total income was around $65.7 million, its total costs were approximately $61.5 million, and its net assets were approximately $7.5 million.

The organization's stated goal was to "advocate for common sense solutions and strengthen American democracy." On "quantitative and qualitative research on topics of national relevance then executed media campaigns influenced by that study," the company claimed to have spent $57.9 million.

Additionally, 29 groups received "funding and other help" from Future Forward USA Action. FF PAC received over $12 million, making it the biggest beneficiary.

Future Forward USA Action drew in around $12.6 million, spent $16.8 million, and finished 2021 with $3.3 million in net assets, according to its tax documents. comparable activities as of 2022. Six groups received funding from it, with FF PAC receiving the highest gift of almost $3.4 million.

As per its tax documentation, Future Forward USA Action amassed around $150.9 million in revenue, spent roughly $149.4 million, and concluded the year with $6.9 million in net assets.

It spent $148.2 million on the same projects as 2022 and 2021 in the same year. Grants were given to seventeen organizations. FF PAC was the biggest beneficiary, receiving almost $60.3 million. In none of those years, Future Forward USA Action disclosed who its contributors were.
