Self-described misogynist and social media influencer Andrew Tate was arrested in Romania on Tuesday; it was verified that an internet streamer had provided the tip that he was about to leave the nation.

When the attorneys representing Andrew Tate's four accusers learned that Tate was about to leave Romania, they obtained a UK arrest order for him and his brother Tristan Tate.

Adin Ross, a streamer, posted a video online stating: Andrew had hit me up, he said, “Hey, I’m gonna be leaving Romania soon and probably never coming back if you wanna come over and do a week of longstreams and content before I leave, I think it’ll be big, and it’s never” — I’m sorry, he said, “It’s not, it’s basically now or never,” Will Sommer, a media reporter for The Washington Post, confirmed that Adin Ross was the source of the information.

Sommer shared the accusers' legal brief and the video:

Reports state that UK officials seized Andrew and his brother Tristan on Monday night and issued an arrest warrant after looking into claims of "sexual aggression" spanning the years 2012–2015.

There were plans for Tate and his brother to go on trial in Romania on individual rape and human trafficking charges. Although they were under house arrest, Andrew Tate filed a release petition back in August. As long as they do not leave the nation, he was successful.
