Fulton County DA Warns Attorney: Silence on Her and Nathan Wade

Cindi Lee Yeager, an Assistant District Attorney in Cobb County, was willing to provide testimony about her discussions with Bradley concerning Fani Willis, the District Attorney of Fulton County, and Wade.

Yeager was willing to testify that she had multiple discussions with Bradley regarding Willis and Wade’s relationship. Yeager mentioned in a court filing that Bradley came to her office in September 2023. During his time at the location, Bradley was contacted by Willis over the phone.

Yeager overheard Willis trying to quiet Bradley after Willis came across a Washington Examiner article detailing the amount of money she paid Wade and his law firm.

Ms. Yeager overheard District Attorney Willis warning Mr. Bradley about potential threats. "You don’t need to discuss anything about us with them," the court filing stated. Yeager shared that Bradley provided her with a detailed account of Willis' initial encounter with Wade before hiring him as the special prosecutor in November 2021.

Bradley informed Yeager that the relationship started when Willis and Wade first met in 2019. Bradley also informed defense attorney Ashleigh Merchant of the same. During previous testimony on Friday, Bradley was unable to remember the exact date when Willis and Wade's relationship started.

Text messages exchanged with Merchant a few months ago were presented to him. Bradley confirmed the text messages, although he could not remember sending them to Merchant. Willis and Wade both stated in court that their romantic relationship started after she hired Wade in November 2021.

According to Yeager, Wade prepared his own divorce documents against his wife, Joycelyn Wade, as stated in the court filing. Wade reportedly instructed Bradley to sign the divorce papers and submit them on Wade's behalf.

It is possible that Judge Scott McAfee informed Bradley that the attorney-client privilege did not prevent him from testifying about Wade in court. Judge McAfee is set to decide on the potential disqualification of Willis and Wade from Trump's RICO case. In the event that Willis and Wade are disqualified, Trump's case will be passed on to a different Georgia DA.

According to Judge McAfee, he plans to reveal his decision within the next two weeks.
