Caleb Kinsey, 34, of Richmond Hill, and Stephen Glosser, 37, have been identified as the two males from Georgia. On suspicion of detonating a homemade bomb at the residence of a woman Glosser had dated in the past, the two were taken into custody in February 2023. The victim and Glosser had once connected via a dating app, but their connection had terminated, ATF agents revealed to WTOC.

In December 2022 and January 2023, the two Georgia males placed their victim under surveillance "with the intent to kill, injure, harass, or intimidate" her, according to a news statement issued by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Georgia. According to the investigators, the males spoke of releasing "a large python into the victim’s home to eat the victim’s daughter," delivering dog poo or dead rats to her residence, scalping the lady, and putting arrows into her front door.

According to the indictment, Glosser located the woman's residence by looking up her address online and creating a route to get there. Kinsey mimicked Glosser's activities by building an explosive device at Glosser's house and buying Tannerite, a kind of binary explosive targets used for gun practice, online.

The two males from Georgia carried out a portion of their plan, according to officials, and used the explosive to blow up the woman's new house in Richmond Hill, Georgia, on January 13, 2023. Just one day before to the explosion, the mother and her daughter were said to have moved into the house. Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the blast. The crime was intentional, Bryan County Sheriff Mark Crowe told WTOC. It easily might have caused harm or even death to someone. On the opposite end of the home, the woman was very fortunate to be as far away from the explosion as she was.

At 5 a.m. on that particular day, Bryan County emergency services responded to a report of an explosion at a house on Demeries Lake Court in Richmond Hill, according to the Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire in Georgia. When authorities arrived, they discovered that the explosion was caused by a "IED composed of a binary explosive compound" and opened a multi-agency inquiry.

In relation to the home bombing and their threats to feed the woman's kid to a python and scalp her, the two guys from Georgia were ultimately taken into custody. Glosser was caught locally, but Kinsey had left the state and was taken into custody in Louisiana.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Southern District of Georgia, the two men from Georgia were indicted on Thursday, March 7, on a number of federal crimes pertaining to their alleged scheme and the home explosion. Along with possession of an unregistered device, the accusations also included stalking and conspiracy to use explosives to conduct a crime. Along with being charged with possession of guns by a convicted felon, Kinsey was also accused of lying when purchasing a handgun.

As they await more court processes, Glosser and Kinsey are still being held in jail. According to the prosecution, there is a 20-year maximum jail sentence for the conspiracy accusation and an extra 10-year sentence for using an explosive to conduct a crime. The two Georgian men will also not be eligible for parole since they are being prosecuted by the federal government.
