Dallas Cowboys' QB Dak Prescott Faces Allegations of False Assault Claims and Blackmail Attempt

The quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, Dak Prescott, is allegedly suing a lady for fabricating false claims of sexual assault. In his complaint, the NFL player claims that the lady tried to blackmail him out of $100 million.

Vicki Baileigh Shores and her attorneys, Yoel and Bethel T. Zehaie, are accused of trying to extort Prescott in the Texas complaint, according to USA Today. On January 16, Prescott allegedly received a demand letter asking $100 million from the woman's attorneys. It has been seven years since Ms. Shores had to deal with this suffering.

She needed treatment and counseling, and she will still need it in the future since it had such a significant impact on her relationship with her fiancé and her day-to-day life, according to the letter. “She has suffered mental anguish that is unimaginable dealing with the trauma of being a sexual assault of victim. Despite the tragic events, she is willing to forego pursuing criminal charges, along with disclosing this information to the public, in exchange for compensating her for the mental anguish she has suffered. Ms. Shores’s damages are valued at the sum of $100,000,000.00. You have until February 16, 2024, to respond to this demand letter.”

Prescott went on to open a legal case after that. "Mr. Prescott has a lot of empathy for victims of sexual assault. He just became a father to a newborn girl. Attorney Levi McCathern for Prescott said in a statement, "He fervently believes that all perpetrators of such crimes should be punished to the fullest extent of the law." It is important to clarify that Mr. Prescott has never had intercourse with anybody without their will. Lie hurts. In particular, dishonest falsehoods. We will not let the defendant and her attorneys make money off of this effort to demand millions of dollars from Mr. Prescott.

As Prescott's rookie season was coming to a conclusion, Shores believes the attack occurred around February 2, 2017.

Mr. Prescott was unmarried at the time of the alleged attack, and the complaint claims that Defendant Shores's behavior in the seven years that have passed after the claimed assault are consistent with him having solely engaged in consensual activities with Mr. Prescott.

Prescott has a reputation for generosity and altruism off the field. His mission is to combat cancer and enhance the lives of young people. He established the Faith Fight Finish Foundation. Additionally, Prescott has not hidden his own battles with mental illness or his belief in the need of getting care when one needs it.

To ensure his place as the starting quarterback for the Cowboys for many years to come, Prescott inked a huge contract deal with them in 2020. Prescott has persevered through hardship and obstacles over his career, demonstrating that perseverance, hard effort, and an optimistic outlook can result in success.

For both supporters and aspiring athletes, Dak Prescott's story is an inspiration as he continues to excel on the field and change the world off it.
