Maria Zakharova, the spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry, has dismissed a recent Bloomberg article as a complete fabrication. According to Zakharova, the claim that individuals close to President Vladimir Putin doubt Ukraine's involvement in the Crocus City concert hall terrorist attack is nothing more than a baseless rumor.

Late in the evening on March 22, a band of armed assailants launched an attack on the Crocus City Hall venue located just outside Moscow. Tragically, more than 130 lives were lost and around 200 individuals sustained injuries.

According to sources with close ties to the Kremlin, the news agency reported on Tuesday that there is no evidence of Ukraine's involvement.

According to the report, it was stated that Putin was involved in discussions where officials reached an agreement that there is no connection to Kiev. However, it was also mentioned that he is still determined to utilize the tragedy as a means to unite Russians in support of the war in Ukraine. Bloomberg's source, who requested anonymity, provided insight into the situation.

Zakharova strongly criticized the report, expressing her thoughts on Telegram on Tuesday: "An incredible piece of news." Oh, that is just the mother of all fakes.

Nikolay Patrushev, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, and Aleksandr Bortnikov, the head of Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB), suggested that Ukraine might have had a role in the attack. Bortnikov also mentioned the possible involvement of the US and UK.

ISIS-K has claimed responsibility for the massacre. The US and EU maintain that no one else could be held responsible, refuting any suggestion that Ukraine played a role in the act of terrorism. During the weekend, the Russian authorities took into custody a number of individuals, including four who were directly implicated in the attack.

All of them, who happen to be from Tajikistan, tried to make their getaway in a car. According to the head of the FSB, there is a belief that they were anticipated in Ukraine, and it is possible that the Ukrainian side was making preparations to facilitate their crossing of the border.
